Popular Nollywood Actor, Aki Divorces His Wife

Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, known as Aki, has subtly confirmed separation from his wife, Nneoma Nwaijah, whom he married in 2011.

Aki and Nneoma’s traditional marriage was held on 26 November 2011 in Obolo, Isiala Mbano, Imo State.

Their white wedding followed on 9 December 2011 at the Redeemed Christian Church of God – Abundant Grace parish in Ogba, Lagos.

A star-studded guest list at the wedding included actors like Osita Iheme, aka Pawpaw, Uche Jombo, Rita Dominic, Mercy Johnson, Genevieve Nnaji, Monalisa Chinda, Susan Peters and others.
Aki met Nneoma on a movie set in Lagos, where she worked as a costumier, and he was the lead actor.

On Tuesday, the 46-year-old actor announced his separation from Nneoma and revealed he is now married to Stephanie Promise, with whom he recently welcomed a child.

He made the disclosure on Instagram while celebrating Promise’s birthday and revealed they have other children together.

Aki said: “My world, my love. On this particular day, I want to celebrate not only your birthday but the incredible journey we’ve been on together. You have blessed our lives with two beautiful girls who light up our world, and now, we have been gifted with a precious baby boy.

“Watching you embrace motherhood with grace and strength fills me with awe. You are the heart of our family, the rock we all lean on. Your love and dedication to me and our children are unparalleled, and I am endlessly grateful for the life we are building together.”

He, however, didn’t reveal when his first marriage ended nor when the second was contracted

The slave bible was a fraud!

In the 1800s, a version of the Bible was used to introduce Christianity to the enslaved Africans in the British West Indies to encourage total submission to slavery. It underwent alterations where any references to freedom were removed, and instead, passages emphasizing obedience were highlighted.

For example: verses like this were emphasized
"Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the singleness of your heart, as unto Christ" Ephesians 6:5.

The "Slave Bible" also told of Joseph's enslavement but left out the parts where Moses led the Israelites to freedom.

About 90 percent of the Old Testament & 50 percent of the New Testament were missing. Bible studies and worship sessions were held in slave cells using the adulterated bible before sending them on a journey of no return.

It was stolen by Italy 🇮🇹 in 1935

It had only flown 30 hrs when Italy made another attempt to colonize Ethiopia 🇪🇹. They were defeated and the retreating Italian forces took away the plane from the hangar. While in Italy, the technology was studied and copied.

The sleek red plane has now been returned back to Ethiopia.. The Italians kept it in their custody for almost 90 years.

PM Abiy Ahmed expressed his gratitude to Italian PM Giorgia Meloni for facilitating the repatriation.

We encourage all other nations across the world, especially the EU countries to emulate Italy in returning stolen valuables or pay reparations.

Wanted drug baron arrested in village mansion as NDLEA recovers m**h, precursors, guns

A major drug cartel behind the production and distribution of deadly psychoactive substance, m**hamphetamine, popularly called ‘mkpuru mmiri’ has been taken down by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, following the arrest of the leader of the syndicate, 42-year-old Joachin Chikaodi Mbonu and his associate in his mansion tucked in his Umuomi village, Uzogba-Ezenomi autonomous community, Ikeduru local government area of Imo State.

A statement from the spokesperson of the anti-drug agency, Femi Babafemi, says the cartel with operational bases in Imo and Rivers state became a target of the Agency following intelligence indicating it is responsible for the distribution of substantial quantity of m**hamphetamine in South East, South South and other parts of the country.

‘’After weeks of surveillance, officers of a special operations unit of the Agency on Friday 5th July 2024, tracked and traced the drug lord to his village mansion in Imo state where he was caught with a member of his cartel, Kenneth Chibuike Ofoegbu, 34, with different quantities of m**hamphetamine, its precursor chemicals, a pump action gun and cartridges recovered’’

Babafemi said exhibits recovered from the house include: 419.99 grams of m**hamphetamine; 750 grams of iodine, a precursor chemical for m**h; 500 grams of sodium bicarbonate, a precursor chemical for m**h; two electronic weighing scales and a pump action gun with four cartridges.

He mentioned that the operatives moved swiftly to another of Mbonu’s hideout located at 11 Redemption Avenue, Port Harcourt, Rivers state where they recovered additional exhibits: 750 grams of processed sodium bicarbonate; 170 grams of plain sodium bicarbonate and 75 grams of m**h.

Another raid in the home of one of Mbonu’s associates, Odoemenam Pedro Chinedu, currently at large, at Njaba LGA, Imo state, led to the recovery of another pump action gun with 25 cartridges, among other items. While the kingpin cools his heels in custody, two of his mansions in Imo state have been marked for possible forfeiture to the federal government.

Hetty Green... the most stingy woman in history, her wealth is estimated at more than $2.3 billion. Hetty Greene was born in America in 1835. She was the only daughter of a wealthy businessman.

She inherited from her father a fortune estimated at $7.5 million. When she was twenty-one years old, she moved to live in New York to invest her money in Wall Street and was called the Wicked Witch of Wall Street.

She married a millionaire like herself but still lived on leftover cakes and broken biscuits in grocery stores and argued to get a free bone for her dog every day!! Hetty Greene was a very miserable woman. She sewed underpants when she was 16 years old and did not change them or buy others until the day of her death.

She never spent a penny, so it was said that she never used hot water, that she wore a black dress that she did not change until it was completely worn out, and that she lived on eating a pie that cost only two cents.

Hetty caused her son to amputate his leg because when he broke it, she delayed treating it because she insisted not to. She spent no money and kept looking for free medical attention.

This is the late Chief M.K.O Abiola, a Nigerian business mogul, who championed the quest for reparations for the African continent in the 90s.

In December 1990, he sponsored a reparations conference in , which was themed, “Reparations for Africa and Africans in the Diaspora”. By June 1991, this bold reparations initiative was backed by the African Union (AU). Following a meeting by the member countries, a resolution was passed on the injustices of slavery and the need for reparations.

On June 28th 1992, a 12-member Group of Eminent Persons (GEP) on reparations was mandated by the AU to actively pursue reparations which Chief M.K.O Abiola was the Chairman. This includes some African Head of State and representatives from Jamaica and the US.

As documented by MBO Owolowo, in April 1993, the first Pan-African conference on Reparations was held in , . The objective of the reparations conference was to formally institute a global movement to spearhead the reparations campaign. During the conference, a resolute communiqué was issued affirming the crimes perpetrated during the slavery era and the various manifestations of the protracted exploitation of Africa.

In 1992, during a speech on reparations in London, M.K.O Abiola stated:
“Our demand for reparations is based on the tripod of moral, historical, and legal arguments. Who knows what path Africa’s social development would have taken if our great centers of civilization had not been razed in search of human cargo? Who knows how our economies would have developed?”

There have been many theories about what really happened to M.K.O Abiola after winning a free and fair election in Nigeria in 1993. His experience highlights the international dimensions of the issue; it exposes the dilemma of navigating through the perilous terrain of demanding reparations and somewhat confirms the existence of local saboteurs ready to scuttle plans that aren’t in tandem with certain powerful forces.

It’s been 26 years since M.K.O Abiola died under very mysterious circumstances on July 7, 1998, still, the reparations cause remains elusive to the African continent.

The strangest marriage in the world was in the 80s, the Swiss Corina Hoffman, who was on a visit to Kenya 🇰🇪

In 1986, Hofmann and her boyfriend Marco made a trip to Kenya. There, she met a Samburu warrior named Lketinga Leparmorijo and instantly found him irresistible. She left Marco, went back to Switzerland, sold her properties off, and in 1987, returned to Kenya, determined to find Lketinga, which she eventually did. The couple moved in together, got married and had a daughter.

Hofmann moved into her mother-in-law's manyatta (compound) and learned to live as a Samburu woman, fetching wood and water. She opened a small shop in the village, to sell basic goods.

Hofmann suffered several hardships, including diseases (mainly malaria) and marital problems. In 1990, she decided to return to Switzerland for good, taking her daughter with her. Later on, she wrote a book about her experiences. The book, titled The White Massai, became a phenomenal success. It has been translated into several languages, and in 2005, made into an eponymous movie starring Nina Hoss and Jacky Ido.

She returned to visit her Samburu family for the first time in 2004. Another visit followed, this time in the company of the daughter she had with Lketinga. The reunion is described in Afrika, meine Passion.

Burundian Man Who Left His Country to Visit Kenyan Lady Sees Dust at JKIA as Lady Switches Off Phone Despite Sending Her Sh 2 Million.

A Burundian singer, known as Mr Champagne, faced an unexpected and disheartening situation upon his arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.

The artist had traveled to Kenya with high hopes of meeting his Kenyan girlfriend for the first time, only to be met with silence and disappointment when she turned off her phone.

In an emotional interview with content creators at the airport, Mr Champagne recounted his ordeal.

The singer expressed his bewilderment over her sudden disappearance, indicating that he might have been deceived.

“She might have conned me, but if that is the case, then it is going to be a war,” he stated, underscoring his resolve to uncover the truth behind the situation.
