I went to Urgent care to see about why I've been sick since April 10 and ended up riding in an Ambulance to the hospital with Heart attack markers....

Again.... What the crap... Last heart attack was in 2023.

So I'm taking some time off!

After my recent kayaking disaster, I honestly wasn’t sure how long it would take before I felt comfortable back on the water again.

So this trip wasn’t just about fishing. It was about trying to find my mojo again.

A buddy took me out on his boat for a much-needed day on the water, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need after things go sideways. No pressure. No expectations. Just fishing, clearing your head, and remembering why you love being out there in the first place.

This one is more personal than most videos I make, and I think a lot of anglers will understand exactly what I mean.

I had my FIRST EVER kayak capsize while Snook fishing… and it happened FAST.

On this trip, I lost a ton of fishing gear when my kayak flipped in the water. Rods, tackle, equipment… gone in seconds. Thankfully, I made it out safely because this situation could have ended far worse.

I went out anyway — and it paid off BIG.

Out kayak fishing in some rough Florida conditions, I managed to land MULTIPLE keeper fish including sheepshead, mangrove snapper, croaker, whiting, and more. 💥

Wind, dirty water, tough bite… didn’t matter.

🚨 BACK ON THE WATER! 🚨

After taking a break, I’m finally back out doing what I love… kayak fishing the Florida waters!

Jumped back in the Hobie Pro Angler 12 and hit the Indian River Lagoon to see if I could still make it happen. Shaking off the rust, dealing with real conditions, and putting in the work to find fish again. Some hits, some misses… but that’s the grind.

Some days, fishing isn’t about the catch.

It’s about getting through.

In this video, I hit the water while sick, exhausted, and carrying the weight of losing one of my Army brothers to a tragic accident. At the time of filming, I hadn’t even made it to the funeral yet… and that kind of grief doesn’t just sit quietly.

This trip wasn’t about perfect conditions or big fish.
It was about pushing forward when everything in you says to stop.

Out here on the kayak, in the middle of Florida waters, I found a little bit of clarity… even if just for a moment.
