Third Beard Fishing Army Veteran, Fisherman, DIY Handyman, Adventurer, I’m Just an Army Veteran who suffered from depression and rarely left the house.

I became extremely unhealthy and gained a lot of weight, complete with copious amounts of low self esteem. Now I’m trying to get outside and find the joy in life again. From working on a project truck and fixing up the house, to fishing trips and traveling, and shooting and firearm builds, you’ll see all my adventures as I work to find myself again.

Heading to my annual Army platoon reunion!

We choose a new location each year! This year it’s being held in Arizona!

I’m excited to go there as I’ve never been. My Grandfather on my mother’s side is from there and I have extended family there as well.

Plus there is some cool wildlife there that’s not in Florida, so I have all my cameras and will be filming for my channel!

I’m going to try and do some fishing there too if we can find the time.

The amount of times I’ve lost a big Snook to Mangrove roots is terrible. 🤦🏻‍♂️

It’s so devastating for the few seconds you get to feel the fish pull drag, knowing you can’t stop it, and knowing it’s going to break you off.

It breaks your soul. 🤣

So I’ve been doing something the past few months that’s rather exciting. I’ve been writing songs.

I’ve done this is the past (when I had a band, and really enjoyed it, but since I don’t have a band right now, I have resorted to using Ai to render what I want the songs I write to sound like.

This is my newest song called Final Stand.

It’s about a soldier who is mortally wounded and wakes up alone after air strikes were called down on his position after his unit was getting over run. He was hit and his buddies thought he was already dead so they left him when they retreated. He survived, wakes up alone, realizes the enemy is coming back, and he’s the only one left between them and his unit in the rear. He knows he’s going to die from his wounds, but he’s going to take as many with him as he can.

The full song is available on most platforms if you’d like to check it out. I think it’s pretty cool, but I’m biased.
