ICYMI: Verse of the Week 📖

/ Matthew 25:35-40 /
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

"There's no such thing as a self-made person. Someone else believed, encouraged, and invested in you. Be grateful and be that someone for others." - Unknown

Founder & CEO of Vitalogy EMS, Brodie Verworn, was born and raised in Montana. In 2006, he became a full time EMT/Firefighter with the Big Mountain Fire Department, where he was the senior paramedic on staff until his retirement in 2020.

Backed by incredible knowledge and extensive experience, Brodie and his wife, Amy sought to fill the dire need in our community and founded Vitalogy EMS, a private ambulance transport company based out of the Kalispell, MT area. With the rise in medical transport needs in the region, Vitalogy EMS aids in transporting our community's most vulnerable from hospital to hospital, hospital to other care facility, hospital to home, or home to a medical appointment.

HAPPY MAY! ☀️

Over the next few weeks as we dive into the sunnier part of springtime, we are excited to reflect on and highlight some of our favorite episodes that will help you prepare for the warmer months!

Exercise and physical activity are good for just about everyone, including older adults. Often, inactivity is more to blame than age when older people lose the ability to do things on their own. Lack of physical activity also can lead to more visits to the doctor, more hospitalizations, and more use of medicines for a variety of illnesses (National Institute on Aging).

Check out Episode 70: Getting Active and Living Longer! to learn more about the benefits of exercising as we age, discuss functional flexibility, and give tips and tricks on how to integrate more activity into your daily life! 🏃🏼‍♂️
