Hyderabad is the only Indian city that was selected and it is a matter of pride for Telangana and India that has won not only the category award but the overall ‘World Green City 2022' award, the best across all 6 categories, according to an official release. Telangana’s Hyderabad city won the overall ‘World Green City Award 2022’ and ‘Living Green for Economic Recovery and Inclusive Growth’ award at the International Association of Horticulture Producers (AIPH) World Green City Awards 2022 held in Jeju, South Korea, Friday.

Hyderabad beat cities like Paris, Mexico City, Montreal, Fortaleza and Bogota to be adjudged the grand winner. It not only won the category award but the overall ‘World Green City 2022’ award i.e. the best across all six categories.

Bharti Enterprises chairman Sunil Mittal said that its 5G service will launch in 8 cities. He said that Airtel 5G will go live in New Delhi, Varanasi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru in addition to four other cities. Name of other four cities is not revealed yet.

Step to enable 5G on a smartphone:
STEP 1 Open the Settings app on a smartphone.

STEP 2 Head to Connections or Mobile network option.
STEP 3 Tap on Network mode and choose the 5G/4G/3G/2G option.

Notably, once the network mode is set to 5G, the device will automatically start showing the 5G logo at the top if a user is in a 5G-enabled location.

The first posts were more like the people's reaction to this feature, and by day two, some started using it to share personal updates like "feeling great to meet mom after long", another travel influencer posted, "I am in Kolkata today." Then some are posting jokes and greetings. It also allows you to tap on it and reply to the Note to start a conversation.

Instagram users are drawing similarities with Facebook, BBM statuses and Twitter. While this does not take away anything from the user experience, its placement is a bit arguable. As mentioned, it's placed right on top of the messages screen, and it's fair to say that you can't ignore it even if you wish to.

Some friends reached out to me to find a way to disable it, but even after extensive digging, I did not find a way to do it. The only option, as of now, is to tap and hold the Note and then tap on the 'Mute notes' option. Remember that you'll have to do it individually for all notes. If you wish to unmute, you'll have to do it from that user's profile page.

Business Insider India has reached out to Instagram for more clarity on this feature’s roll-out plan and whether it is a final build or a beta. We will update the story with inputs.

Cheetahs in India: Eight Namibian wild cheetahs, five females and three males, have been re-introduced at Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park. Here's what you need to know about the relocation project.

Over 70 years after they went extinct, eight cheetahs landed in India on Saturday (September 17) from Namibia. The big cats were flown in on a modified passenger B-747 Jumbo Jet, which took off from Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek and landed in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior. The cheetahs will be released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the occasion of his birthday today, at Kuno National Park.
On board the jet were eight Namibian wild cheetahs, five females and three males.

This is the first time in the world that a large carnivore will be relocated from one continent to another.

Taarak Mehta is all set to return to television’s popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, but not in Shailesh Lodha. The makers have found a new actor to play the role, and it is Sachin Shroff, a popular face on Indian television.

A new promo of the show, which was shared on Instagram, had the residents of Gokuldhaam society celebrating Ganesh Utsav. In it, Anjali Mehta, Taarak Mehta’s wife, was walking away from the pandal when a familiar voice singing the Ganesh aarti stopped her. The promo was shared with the caption, “Aakhir kaun kar raha hai Ganpati Bappa ki Aarti ⁉️ Janane ke liye dekhte rahiye , Mon-Sat raat 8:30 baje.”

Rahul Gandhi's "Rs 41,000 T-Shirt" Stitches New BJP vs Congress Face-Off

Rahul Gandhi's "suit boot ka Sarkaar" jibe at the Narendra Modi government was returned with interest by the BJP again today. The party claimed that the Congress leader was sporting a Rs 41,000-plus T-shirt from British luxury brand Burberry while on his "Bharat Jodo Yatra" -- meant to evolve a connect with the common man. Setting yet another record for the highest liquor sale in the state, Keralites gulped down alcohol worth as much as Rs 624 crore in a week during the run-up to the Onam festival. The figures in 2021 stood at Rs 529 crore.

According to the sales figures of the Kerala State Beverages Corporation, on Wednesday, the day of Uthradam, a day before the big festival liquor worth Rs 117 crores was sold.

Ahead of the launch of the free delivery of atta (flour) scheme, the Punjab government has ordered verification of all blue ration cards distributed by previous governments. The reason behind the launch of the verification drive is a viral video in which a man driving a luxury car is seen taking free wheat from a ration shop in Hoshiarpur.
The video, that has emerged on social media, shows the man arriving at a government ration shop in Punjab's Hoshiarpur in a Mercedes to pick up subsidised food items. The ration is available at these shops for Below Poverty Line (BPL) category people who can't afford to buy it from a grocery store so the man's gesture has angered some of the Twitter users. The man who arrived in the blue Mercedes is seen keeping sacks of pulses and rice in the boot of his car. These items are available at Rs 2 per kg so that the extremely poor people can get good food.

Before Academy Award nominee Chadwick Boseman passed away the Black Panther star was able to get into the recording booth and bring his Marvel character T'Challa to life one last time for the animated series Marvel's What If...? In the series Boseman would play a version of the hero that found himself living among the stars instead of the plains of Wakanda, answering the question "What if T'Challa was Star-Lord?" Boseman would reprise the part in a few episodes of the show's first season and now he's been honored with an Emmy Award for his work.

Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries Ltd. is the mystery buyer of an $80 million beach-side villa in Dubai, the city's biggest ever residential property deal, two people familiar with the deal said.
The property on Palm Jumeirah was purchased earlier this year for Ambani's youngest son, Anant, one of the people said, asking not to be named as the transaction is private. Sonali Phogat Case: Goa's 'Curlie's' Restaurant Back In Limelight After 14 Years

Sonali Phogat (42) had visited 'Curlie's' restaurant on Monday night and was brought dead to the St Anthony Hospital in Anjuna in North Goa district from her hotel on August 23 morning.

Her death, earlier suspected to have been caused by a heart attack, is now being treated as a murder and two of her associates have been arrested by the Anjuna police.

In the vacuum of space, you can't hear much, but NASA recently revealed that black holes emit noises that sound like ghostly alien moans and wails.

In a post on Monday, NASA's Twitter account for its exoplanet programs shared an audio clip of spooky sounds that come from waves of pressure, which ripple from a black hole through a cluster of galaxies.

Listen to the clip below, where NASA captured the eerie sounds of black-hole pressure rippling through the Perseus galaxy cluster.

The actual sound, however, is out of the human hearing range at 57 octaves below middle C. The Chandra X-ray Observatory captured data from the ripples in the Perseus cluster, visible in X-ray, which corresponded to inaudible sounds. Then NASA scaled the sounds up from their true pitch to something you can hear. That's 144 quadrillion and 288 quadrillion times higher than their original frequency.

Glasgow Museums has agreed to return seven stolen artefacts to India.

Delegates from the Indian High Commission sealed the move by signing an agreement at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

It is thought to be the first repatriation to India from a UK museum - with more to follow elsewhere.

Six of the items, including 14th Century carvings and 11th Century stone door jams, were stolen from shrines and temples in the 19th Century.

The seventh object, a ceremonial sword or called a tulwar, with its scabbard, was stolen in 1905 from the collection of the Nizam of Hyderabad by his prime minister.

He then sold it to the British general Sir Archibald Hunter.

All of the artefacts were gifted to Glasgow Museums.Glasgow Museums said the items were believed to be from Kanpur, Kolkata, Gwalior, Bihar and Hyderabad.Some of them are thought to be about 1,000 years old.
