Exciting news!

KDS Entertainment is teaming up with "POWER" producer David Hopwood and "American Gangster: Trap Queens" showrunner Andrena Hale for an urban action TV series called "Barracuda: Unit 4." The show features five young and talented but villainous criminals who join a covert vigilante agency, Barracuda, founded by surviving members of the legendary Harlem Hellfighters. Series co-creator Kevin M.J. Murphy describes it as "Kingsmen meets The Su***de Squad." Expect intense action, dark storytelling, and challenging themes. The series has already begun garnering interest from studios as KDS continues to attach talent and build a stellar team.

What had begun as a strategy to keep from being overrun by the horde until he could find an opening started to turn. Without even realizing it, Miles was being washed away by his own blood frenzy and all that made him Reaper was starting to fully emerge. This next wave would tell the tale of how things would end for him, he thought. Ten men slid under the human barrier and began stalking toward him and Sangre, all coming at them from the same direction. Miles flipped and twirled his blades and began wiping the blood off of them onto each of his sleeves. “Sit down.” he said to Sangre barely turning his head toward her. The woman was completely perplexed. She did not know if Miles intended to kill her himself, if this was some part of a bigger plan or if he’d gone mad. “What?” she said weakly. “Sit.” he said again, this time pointing at one of the overturned chairs. In truth, at this point Sangre was more afraid of Miles than she was of the monsters that had torn her partner to shreds, and with good reason. “There are ten of them.” she said calmly as she flipped the chair upright and sat down behind Miles, placing her blade on her lap. “They are all dead men.” he said, his eyes darkening. “Very well. Show me, Reaper. Show us all.” Miles had been holding back unconsciously but as the men moved forward, he saw in his mind’s eye something he’d known all along. He saw himself looking at them through the eyes of the colossal, black serpent. It was not hunting him. It was him. “I am the serpent.” he whispered and when he did, he felt a sense of great peace wash over him.

Faster than Jaxx and Miles’s eyes could follow from the distance that they watched, Maat flashed his long, silver Bowie across the front of the Viper agent chained to the chair nearest him and for a moment it seemed that nothing had happened. Miles could not make out which of the two Japanese operatives it was that Maat had attacked. Then, his head fell off of his neck, rolled around at his feet and stopped with his dead eyes staring up at the ceiling. Blood by the pint began to gurgle up from where the man’s body spasmed and twitched until after many uncomfortable moments, it stopped cold. One stroke. The remaining operatives though experienced were clearly traumatized. Nonplused, Maat turned around to the video screen to await directions from Anton for what would come next for the prisoners.

Miles reached into the pocket of his pants, fished around for a moment and pulled out a single, silver coin that he instinctively knew should be there. At seeing it, once again Ying smiled. “Keep it.” he said. “You may need passage back home.” “So then, who’s paying for this trip? “Isn’t it obvious Miles?” Ying said growing sad. “Look at all of this gray in my hair and beard! You put much of it there.” At this, Miles couldn’t help but chuckle a bit, mostly because he knew it was the truth. “As your teacher, I accepted the burden of paying the price of preparing you for your passage to your moment of destiny when I accepted you as my student, and it was an honor to do so.” “But you kicked me out, Ying. You hated what I’d become.” Miles’s eyes began to fill with tears as he spoke the words he’d held in for nearly two decades and the shame he’d carried hung there between the two of them. “Yes…” the old man answered. “...but I never stopped loving my finest student.” The boat continued to move mostly quietly through the waves as the behemoth serpent grew larger and larger the closer they came to it. Then Ying spoke. “Miles. It’s time to wake up.”

Before the dog soldier could react, Miles twisted the man’s wrist while torquing his own body and reversing the arm bar so that he was now on top bending the man’s arm backward. The pressure on his elbow joint caused the attacker to drop his blade and the instant he did, Miles snapped his arm, breaking it. The soldier howled in pain as Miles deftly transitioned to his rear while reaching behind his own body unsheathing one of the two kukri blades he carried. In less than five seconds, Miles had moved from the ground to a position behind his attacker and was effortlessly pulling the kuiri blade across the front of his throat as he pushed his head forward. The added forward pressure against the razor sharp blade pulling nearly took the head off of the dog soldier. He spasmed, then his body went rigid. Done.

Excerpt from Incendiary Chapter 7: Grave
The back door of the SWAT car opens and 12-armed officers jump out and proceed to the front entrance. The SWAT captain to the lead officer on the scene, "Is it all cleared out"? The officer responds, "It is clear". The SWAT captain gestures it is go time by raising his hand in the air and making circles. The SWAT team raises their guns and enters the apartment complex. They go in slowly and check every corner on their way up the steps and to the assailant?s door. They stager the door with people on both sides of the door. One of the officers brings a door buster up to the door and waits word to break the door down. He approaches the door. Suddenly all the lights go off in the complex making everything dark. Outside, the watchers from outside see the lights go out throughout the apartment complex. Back inside, they continue their mission. The captain counts down, "Three, two, one." The door busters slammed the door open they all rush in with guns out. They go through every room and report back to the Captain, "Clear... Clear..Clear". One of the officers yells back, "I have something" The captain walks over to the officer who is at the door that goes downstairs to the command center. They cautiously walk down the steps, as they are not aware what they are getting into. All the doors are open leading them right into the command center. It is dark and the only light they have is from their guns. They walk off the steps into the command center where it is dark and all the computers are off except one. There is one light in a corner of the room from this computer. The captain gesture for everyone to clear the room while the captain investigates the computer. He drops his gun and cautiously walks over to the computer. Approaching the computer, he steps on a wood panel that pushes in a small machine under the computer. The screen has nothing on it just a blank white screen. After everyone yells that the room is clear the captain responds, "lets get forensics in here to check all the equipment". The captain steps back off the panel making the screen to go red and signaling a 30-pound bomb to explode upstairs smashing the floor on the SWAT team. From outside the crowd hears an explosion and part of the building collapsing. The crowd screams in horror.

Towering above all of the other Progeny, Maat made his way through the Nest. He noted that the dogs, the Nest security, were all generally well trained in that they moved and communicated with each other well. Most were armed with sidearms and blades and they were all wearing a version the same black flak suit and boots he wore. Like Maat, all of the Progeny dogs were body modified, but unlike Maat, they had chosen to do so voluntarily. Wild animal tattoos, scales, implanted ridges of horns on their foreheads, sharpened teeth, artificial claws and silicone implants into their eyes to radically change the color were only the beginning of the features they’d added to help bring out their inner animal they felt they’d been forced to deny and suppress all of their lives. The Progeny of the cult of Pedation were from all over the world composed of various cultures and ethnicities, each member had re-made themselves into the image of their truest beast self. But, all were little more than pale shadows of the monster that Maat had become.
