Wild blueberry season has started in Finland. I picked a huge basket of blueberries. They are big and sweet, and so perfect for the Blueberry tart with rye (p. 111).

Autumn is great time for picking mushrooms and baking mushroom tart. The season is now for winter chantarelles which can be picked until first frost and are very delicious. And if going into a forest is not realistic for you, you can buy dried wild mushrooms and mix them with fresh white button mushrooms to make the tart.

There have been questions regarding the recipe called Miriam's Rhubarb Pie. I was very puzzled by why some readers found the result soggy. The mistake is you have likely put two WHOLE eggs instead of two egg YOLKS into the base. Please comment if you still have any problems. Happy Easter xox
