A few years ago a friend asked me to DJ as a regular in his pub. Funk was the vibe and I had free range as to interpret that. It allowed me to play records out that I did't usually include in my sets but still considered part of my core musical influence. This included re-rubbed and remixed soul, early hip hop, breaks, funk, ghettofunk and disco.

Tonight, I'd like I'd like to showcase some of my favourites from that era.
