In honor of Memorial Day, we want to share a special project to remember those who have dedicated themselves to protecting our universal human rights, both on and off the battlefield. It is important to honor the profound courage of--and the importance of offering respect and compassion to--"those who serve" in this most difficult way. Veterans are so worthy of all our understanding, love, support, and respect. It is in this spirit that I offer Remember Me: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=beYNmu00E7M
Much of the older footage in this video belonged to Christopher Michael Sibley and Rachel Anne Sibley paternal grandfather, Lt. Col. DJ Sibley, who served in the medical corp during WWII; featured at min marker 0:10 with the cigar. The voiceover of their maternal grandfather, Cap. Joseph Michael Fahey, who died flying a plane over Vietnam. The band is Austin powerhouse Soul Soul Track Mind. Many military service members contributed (in the form of featured stills) to making this "Remember Me" project a reality. Post by Chris and Rachel Sibley.
