UPDATE: We did our shooting for my short film, LEADERSHIP from April to June 2022. We were still 5 actors short so we couldn’t finish shooting all the scenes. But we used this time to practice shooting to give us an idea on how to adjust and to improve the shots. We will try again next spring. We need the total of 8 actors and we had only 3 actors during this time. So please pray that God will provide more actors so we can start shooting professionally. 🙏 Here are the pictures of expressions on the actors’ faces. (Captions on pictures)

We had our first day of shooting for my ASL film, “Leadership” last Saturday, April 2, 2022. The movie is based on the story of Deborah in the Bible - Judges 4 and 5. The shooting day was just for practice and it was very cold in the morning - 35 degrees! We had to wear coats over our costumes. The day became warmer up to 60 degrees in the late afternoon. We shot for 8 hours! It went very well! (Captioned on pictures)

Hello! Due to COVID-19 situations among my actors and the props for some scenes were not ready so we as a team decided to put our movie on hold until April 2022.

We finally got the total of four soldiers as extras for our movie. Praise the Lord!! Also it will give us more time to finish everything that we need for shooting.

One of my actors had been tested positive for COVID-19 while back and has survived. We had to delay the shooting schedule while he recovered. We will return to shooting g on September 11. Please pray that none of my other actors will get COVID-19 while shooting my movie. Thanks! 🙏

UPDATE: We had our first shooting for my movie, “Leadership” last Saturday, August 21 at the park. The original date, August 7 was postponed due to rain. It went very well though it was a very hot day!

Praise the Lord that we got two deaf men to be extras as soldiers! And thank you for all your donations that I was able to purchase the costumes for our actors and will start wearing them on September 4.

We still need TWO MORE DEAF MEN to be extras as soldiers so if any of you are interested in participating in my movie, please inbox me by August 28.

CASTING CALL!! Need four deaf men as extras for my movie, “Leadership.” The role is soldiers with one or two lines. The role is also unpaid and nonunion position. The fundraising campaign for my movie has ended. Because it did not meet the $100 minimum requirement to deposit into my bank account the money are being refunded to contributors. 😩😩😩

Here is the note that I want to let the hearing people know. My films will not be totally silent with just signing but will have sound effects. I finally got an approval to use one of the parks here in Knoxville, TN as our filming location for our short film movie, “Leadership”!Also I got 1 million dollars insurance policy for the park as requested. The only thing we need to do is to get costumes. So far we have raised $340 ($300 through PayPal and $40 through fundraising page).
