Apply for our $350 film production grant intended for underrepresented filmmakers! Those within the film-making community, or those who wish to venture into it, that feel that their voice is underrepresented in mass media should apply. With this grant, you also get access to TVM training, our equipment, and screening opportunities. You will have the opportunity to screen your film at our next semester's Fokus festival and have it uploaded onto the TVM YouTube channel! TVM is hosting its first-ever Halloween Film Festival – SPOOKUS – on Wednesday, October 26th from 7-9pm at 3475 Peel! If you’re interested in participating, Spookus is holding a 36-hour filmmaking challenge THIS WEEKEND from 10am October 22nd to 10pm October 23rd, the top films submitted will be screened at the festival! General submissions will also be accepted until October 23rd at 10pm and can be emailed to us with the same email above. We hope to see you there!!

TVM COVID Update!

The SSMU Building where the TVM office is located will be closed until further notice from the University, meaning that we will continue to experience delays in production until the building reopens.

The application deadline for hiring Editors and Producers has been pushed to January 24th at 11:59 pm, allowing us time to make sure that training for our new members will be postponed until we can safely host it in person.

For our current members, activities such as weekly meetings and writers workshop will be held online for now.
