o tonight? What shall we do on Saturday? It’s not always
easy to find out what and the where something is going on. New bars and restaurants are opening alongside established ones, the cultural and entertainment scene is constantly growing, and it may sometimes be difficult for a venue to establish their place on the Vientiane scene. Appropriate advertisement media is hard to find, and local radio and printed press remains the most effective sources of information. However, the radio lacks the targeted audience and newspaper readership remains low. Television is still in its infancy. To address this lack of exposure opportunities, we are launching a convenient facebook to assemble information
on cultural and entertainment events in Vientiane / throughout the country, and to promote artistic initiatives in general. This page is mainly targeted towards the local Lao population and the expat community; although we are confident it will also be appreciated by tourists, adding to their experience in the country.
