Happy New Year everyone!
We hope you all had a good start into 2025! We spent New Years' Eve at home in Germany, just chilled, enjoying a scrumptious Raclette. Having Lotta, my dad's cocker spaniel in our family is such a joy. It was the second Christmas and New Years' Eve without my beloved mother and it's still so difficult. Lotta seems just like what the doctor ordered. She is so precious and beautiful! Sending you all lots of love.

Good evening everyone, We hope you are all well! A couple of people informed us that they received messages from 'us' which sadly weren't sent from this account but from a fake one. Ours is called 'Kirsten & Joerg' and they created a fake one stealing our picture using the name 'Kirsten Joerg'. We tried to report them but so far Facebook hasn't done anything.
Please don't share any private information with them as they are scammers. We are so sorry this is happening so if you get a message or see something, please do report them as well and hopefully the fake account will get deleted.

I can't help it - I have the biggest love for the Yorkshire Dales. When the series 'All Creatures Great and Small' came out I was only a little girl but every Sunday I waited with anticipation for the new episode. I somehow felt as if I needed to be in the Yorkshire Dales although I was watching from Germany. It just touched my heart and soul!
Now with having lived in the UK for nearly 9 years and having visited the Dales for the first time some years ago, this love didn't end! On the contrary, I LOVE the Dales so so much!

Good afternoon everyone, This coming weekend (June 14th to 16th) will be an amazing Arts & Artisans Weekend in beautiful Bishops' Castle in Shropshire - a weekend of artists' open studios and artisan shops for everyone to see and explore.
