It's been a little over a week and a half since CMF Hollywood wrapped up with the awards ceremony! Although we didn't win any awards for our films this year, we attended amazing panels, networked with some highly talented peers, and were inspired to keep making art. Thank you to everyone who had and continues to support us! We had the time of our lives. :)

Any time someone on our team says, "I'm done," at least one person snickers because it feels like a self-reference. "Done" and "[fixed.echoes]" both screen tomorrow at the AMC theater at the Universal Citywalk!

Meet Jack Bishop!
Jack's a story teller at heart, but his role in Nine Cents Broke rarely ends with the final draft of a script. When not tweaking dialogue and plot lines, he looks for other ways to improve the production team's projects, often with improvisation. What he lacks in experience and the ability to stick with a plan, he makes up for in shear creativity, always willing to ask "what if" until the very last day of post production.

Meet Amanda Ake!
Amanda has spent most of her life as a musician and, when called upon, comes to the rescue of Nine Cents Broke by meeting its soundtrack needs. When not playing violin or ukulele, she attempts to meet other sundry production needs (anything from acting as a co**se double to supplying cookies and coffee to her team members). However, at heart, Amanda is just an English major who wants a quiet life in a small apartment where she can read and finish and publish her first novel.

Meet Nine Cents Broke!

Meet Audrey Stadler!
Part of Oglethorpe University's Class of 2018, she is a Studio Art Major with a track in Film and Photography and a Theater Minor. Studying and freelancing in film since her freshman year of high school, she has fallen in love with film-making. On the team, she plays multiple roles: actress, editor, producer, cinematographer, sound operator, and light operator. She loves the team with all her heart and working with them has helped her to learn and grow as an artist and as a person.

It's a bit over a month until CMF's event in LA! We're working hard to roll out a crowdfunding campaign this week in order to fully meet our funding goals, and the promotional video is going to be awesome. Can't wait to share it with the world!
