Dorene Lewis Walla
ce is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother. Dorene is a woman of Faith, and she loves the Lord. Dorene is a self-taught professional dancer. Her dance career started at Arlington High School in Indianapolis, Indiana as a Junior Varsity Cheerleader. She was a Color Guard with the Arlington Golden Knight Cavaliers, and she was 4-year Varsity in Track and Field. She also danced with a local Hip Hop Dance Troupe and opened up for major artists. She enjoys Latin Dancing, with a local dance company. Dorene's childhood dream came true after she was chosen to cheer for the NFL. After the NFL, Dorene utilized her gift of dance for the Lord. She was also a guest on the TV show, "Praise the Lord". Dorene founded a cheerleading program for youth,"Cheerleaders for Christ". She is the co-author of two books about her life, "The Will to Dance", and "Someone to Hear Me". One of Dorene's proudest moments, was when she received a letter from the Former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama. As an advocate for women's safety issues, she
visits shelters for women and children. Dorene is the proud owner of the Indianapolis Artist Alliance Production Company partnered with John Michael Howcott. Dorene is the Director and Producer of her upcoming stage play "Dance Miss. Dorene", to be released September 17, 2017.
