Hasan Ali, Pakistan's right-arm pacer, has received a "fit" status for training, offering a significant boost to the national team as they prepare for their World Cup 2023 clash against Bangladesh.

Though previously sidelined due to a bout of fever during the South Africa match, the fast bowler remains under constant observation by the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) medical panel, and his participation in the upcoming match with Bangladesh is contingent upon the panel's approval.

The Pakistani team is set to commence their training session in Kolkata on Monday, in anticipation of the crucial match against Bangladesh, scheduled for Tuesday.

Pakistan's World Cup campaign has been marred by disappointment, with the team only managing victories against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka. Subsequently, Babar Azam's squad faced four consecutive losses to India, Australia, Afghanistan, and South Africa, marking an unprecedented losing streak in the tournament's history.

The Green Shirts now face an uphill battle, with their semi-finals prospects hanging by a thread. Even if they secure wins in their remaining matches against Bangladesh, New Zealand, and England, their qualification remains highly improbable, depending on the outcomes of other teams.

In a tense contest on Friday, South Africa secured an exciting one-wicket triumph over the Men in Green.

An incident occurred in the second innings of the game when Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan sustained a head injury while fielding a ground ball.

He briefly exited the field for medical evaluation but subsequently reentered.
However, he was ultimately substituted by Usama Mir due to a concussion.
Speaking on a local sports channel, Umar Gul opined that Shadab Khan saved himself and made an excuse.

Asim Jameel, the son of Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, was sh*t de*d on Sunday.

The heart-wrenching incident occurred in Tulamba Tehsil of Khanewal district.

The deceased body was shifted to Tulamba Hospital, while legal proceedings are underway.

DPO Khanewal Rana Umar Farooq Salamat confirmed that Asim Jamil was sh*t de*d, saying he got a bul*et in his chest.

"Nephew of Tariq Jamil has claimed that Asim Jamil sh*t himself," Salamat added.
