Former lead guitarist and co bassist/writer of the bands WaxLips and Semi-Babe,
Carly Cooper is an accomplished guitarist, singer songwriter, classical flautist, and jazz bassist. She now takes the stage for herself as a indie/pop/rock solo artist. Starting at small coffee shops, she has worked her way to impressive venues such as The Rave/Eagles Club and has been nominated for awards such as the Rising Star of the Year WAMI Award with her bands all before the age of 18.

WaxLips is an all girls rock trio based around the IL/WI state line. Sisters Darien and Rhea Garbis joined forces with lead guitarist Carly Cooper to create this kitschy trio! Their debut ep “Melting Point” is dropping July 19th and they’re currently working on a new album!

After living in a small town for most of her life, Kayla quickly learned to make use of what she had in terms of music, morphing herself into the synthy- bedroom pop goddess she is today!
