Sad story

ONE MISTAKE

"You got 9 over 10, Felicity." I said to my pupil.

She smiled cutely. "It's okay, po, Sir. It's only one mistake lang naman."

I smiled. Umupo ako para magkapantay kaming dalawa.

"You're right, baby. But that one mistake is important, too. It can change your whole life."

She looked at me with eyes full of confusion. "Kahit one mistake lang, po?"

I nodded. "Yes. Do you want me to tell you a story?"

Her eyes twinkled as she giggled. "Yes!"

"Okay..." I chuckled. "There was a girl and a boy. They love each other so much."

"Like a prince and a princess, po?"

"Yes, baby. The prince loves his princess so much. They're very perfect for each other."

"Did they live happily ever after?"

I smiled. "No,"

Her eyes fell on the ground. "B-Bakit, po?"

I sighed and lift her chin gently. "Because the princess did a mistake, baby."

"But it's only one mistake naman po, right? The prince didn't forgive her, po?"

I pinched her cheeks slightly. "The prince did forgive the princess because he loves her so much, baby."

Her face brightened. "Yehey!"

"But they can't be together anymore because... the princess got pregnant and married another prince."

She pouted. "That's sad. Where's the prince now, Sir?"

"He's in front of you, baby."

Her eyes widden. "Really?! You're the prince?!"

I nodded.

"Who was the princess? Oh! And who was the other prince?" She asked. Excitement was evident on her face.

D*mn, this kid's really cute. May pinagmanahan.

"Your mom was the princess and... your dad was the other prince,"

Felicity was about to open her mouth when someone entered the room.

"Felicity, let's go, baby."

"Mommy! Daddy!"

I stood up as I watch her running towards her mom.

I smiled bitterly as I watched my princess standing beside her prince.

"Bye-bye, Sir Tito!"

I smiled at Felicity. They made their way out of my classroom.

I was reading a book in my room when someone enters

“ 𝗔𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘂 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗼”she asked with a big smile on her lips, that makes my heart warm
