Perhaps our “life's purpose” has nothing to do with what job we will find, what new thing we will manifest or attract for ourselves, or what mythical awakening journey we will complete. Perhaps the purpose of our life is to fully live, finally, to touch each here and now moment with our presence and with the gift of our one, wild heart.

And to do whatever we can to help others, to hold them when they are hurting, to listen carefully to their stories and the ways they are attempting to make sense of a world that has gone a bit mad. To speak kind words and not forget the erupting miracle of the other as it appears in front of us. Perhaps this is the most radical gift that we can all give.

Local, state, and federal government representatives and TxDOT officials were on hand this morning to officially cut the ribbon on the newly opened SH 146 express lanes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor Collins recognized the challenges brought by the construction and thanked residents, business owners and visitors for their patience and local support.

Kemah is open for business, open for shopping, and open for family entertainment and fun!

Every thought emits a frequency out to the universe, so if you have negative thoughts, discouragement, sadness, anger, fear, it
reflects back to you.
This is why it is so important that you take care of the quality of your thoughts and learn to cultivate more positive thoughts.

The people around you have a direct impact on your vibrational frequency.
If you surround yourself with happy, positive, and determined people, you will also emit this vibration.
If you surround yourself with complainers and pessimists, be careful, they can decrease your frequency and have a {-} impact on how you think.

Music is very powerful. If you choose to listen to music that talks about death, betrayal, sadness, abandonment; all of these will interfere with your {+} vibration.

When you constantly watch shows/videos/reels that deal with misfortune, death, betrayal, etc. your brain accepts this as reality and releases a whole chemistry in your body, which negatively affects your vibrational frequency. Watch things that do you good to help you vibrate at a higher frequency, and encourage good things to happen in your life.

Whether at home or at work, if you spend a lot of time in a disorganized and dirty environment, it will also affect your mood. Improve your surroundings, organize and clean up your environment. Show the universe that you are capable of receiving so much more. Take care of what you already have!

If you speak poorly about things and people it lowers your vibrational frequency. It is essential to eliminate the habit of complaining and talking bad about others. So avoid the drama and victimization...take responsibility for your life choices!

Kemah bridge update!

It seems that the Northbound lanes on 146 over the bridge from Kemah to Seabrook have been opened to two lanes which has drastically decreased traffic issues.

Also, if you are wondering why all lanes haven't opened yet...it's because they are waiting on Centerpoint to connect electricity to all of the traffic lights and street lights.

****Further update from comment below****
Thanks to Dustin Grisham.
All lanes through Kemah Northbound are now 2 lanes and Southbound are 3 lanes.
Now we just have to wait for the bypass bridge and Centerpoint!
