KYPRIS news is an all-volunteer, non-profit, non-governmental organization, with the mission of fostering the re-approaching of the two Cypriot communities. KYPRIS news is a product of friendship and mutual understanding, run by a joint Turkish-Cypriot and Greek-Cypriot panel, which collaborates peacefully to foster binding links amongst the youth of Cyprus. A team of over thirty-five dedicated te
ens coming from every corner of the island publishes articles, expressing opinions and perspectives on topics varying from Politics and Economics to Health and Culture. Having more than 45 000 readers from all around the globe, we are committed to enlightening our audience by exposing them to the various innovative thinking styles of our writers, and sharing their original and creative ideas with the public. We aim to host a forum of dialogue between all Cypriots, irrespective of religion, ethnic group or language spoken, and promote bi-lateral understanding. In addition, we strive to report and promote bi-communal and youth-affiliated events around Cyprus that have common goals and aspirations as ours. We currently cooperate with other organizations such as the Cyprus Friendship Program and the Home for Cooperation. KYPRIS further extends to a radio team, which hosts a show on MYCY online radio every Saturday at 5pm, with the aid of the Cyprus Community Media Centre.
