***TENDE RLOIN NEEDS AN INTERVIEWER***

Dearest lovelies, as you prolly know, every issue we put out features one poet, writing, sound/vid portion and an INTERVIEW! Our most fabulous interviewer needs to take some time to do other life things, and so we're looking for someone to take his place. You interested?

Deets:
We have traditionally tried to put out one issue a month, which means you could theoretically be responsible for one interview a month, ~10 questions. However, we're in a bit of a transitional phase, so this could be a temporary position. We have a handful of issues we've been sitting on because we need the interview Qs and we've just honestly been too busy, not to mention we like to spread the "control" of the journal around a little bit. We are happy to work out a schedule with you to get through what's already on deck in a way that suits you.

If you're wondering if you're a good fit - please check out the journal (link in comments) and read a few issues/interviews.

This is not a paid position - obvs, like most of us in tiny press world, we don't make any money doing this, in fact we make negative money doing this - your name will go up on the site and we would love to send you any tiny book things we have or will make ad infinitum. And any other perk you can think of that we might be able to offer you.

Mel and I (Jenn) would like to take a moment to say how sad we are to hear of Mark Baumer's death. We didn't know him well (although we were following his progress walking across the country barefoot to raise awareness about climate change) but we did publish some of his work here at TENDE RLOIN. In fact, he was the first poet we published who we hadn't solicited, back when the journal was just beginning. That he even knew our journal existed to submit to back then says something about his engagement in the poetry community.

We plan to donate some of the proceeds from the PSYCHIC PRIVATES EP chap to the environmental activist group Mark was also raising money fr. Details to come.

Mark Baumer was born in Omaha, Japan and has lived mostly inside the president of the United States while the president was still six years old. “Thanks,” I say. I would rather kick him in the shin, but it’s very early in the morning and I haven’t had my coffee yet.
“Word,” he says and walks out the door."
