He played a very crucial role in winning the World-Cup 2011.Even though he was suffering throughout the tournament,he went on!(that is the die-hard spirit)
He was at the peak of his career when he got diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. His never give up moto helped him during his treatment.After 3 months of his treatment in the US & UK, he came back and was recovering.He has been training hard to get back to fitness and to win a place back in the Indian team
He is a true inspiration.
