WISDOM FOR MUSLIM WOMEN

1. A First Class degree won't make you a first class wife, rather, your submission and respect will.

2. The woman who respects her husband is the best wife anyone would ever have.

3. Your character and attitude will go a long way in determining whether your husband will wish he never regret getting married to you.

4. To be a great wife, you need more anger management skills than nagging skills.

5. Be a leader at work or anywhere else, but be a companion at home... it's wisdom.

6. Don't compete with your husband, complement him.

7. Your strength is in humility and submission, not in strife and contention.

8. Be tender, every man respect a tender woman but firm.

9. Never punish your husband by starving him of food or s*x, he may be forced to get it outside.

10. There is nothing wrong in accepting that you are wrong when you are wrong.

11. Prepare to forgive your husband if he wrongs you. For a forgiving wife is better than a vengeful wife.

12. Make a decision to be a good wife, you will need it in the long run...

MAY ALLĀH BLESS ALL MUSLIM WOMEN BOTH MARRIED AND UNMARRIED.

Dune

A dune is a mound of sand formed by the wind, usually along the beach or in a desert. Dunes form when wind blows sand into a sheltered area behind an obstacle. Dunes grow as grains of sand accumulate. Every dune has a windward side and a slipface.

Types of Dunes:

A. Barchan- crescent-shaped dunes, form in areas where there is a hard ground surface, a moderate supply of sand and constant wind direction that blows from one direction

Most common type of dune on Earth and on Mars.

B. Transverse- large fields of dunes that resemble sand ripples on a large scale, form in areas where there is abundant supply of sand and constant wind direction

C. Barchanoid- barchan dunes merge into transverse dunes if a supply of sand increases, simply the intermediate variety between barchan and transverse dunes

D. Longitudinal- long straight dunes that form in areas with limited sand supply and converging wind directions

E. Parabolic- "U" shaped dunes with an open end facing upwind, usually stabilized by vegetation and occur where there is an abundant sand supply, abundant vegetation, and constant wind direction, common in coastal areas

F. Star- dunes with several arms and variable slipface directions that form in areas where there is abundant sand and varied wind directions

Intrusions can be classified according to the shape and size of the intrusive body and its relation to other formations into which it intrudes:

Batholith: a large (more than 100 sq km) irregular discordant intrusion

Chonolith: an irregularly-shaped intrusion with a demonstrable base

Cupola: a dome-shaped projection from the top of a large subterranean intrusion

D**e: a relatively narrow tabular discordant body, often nearly vertical

Bysmalith: more or less vertical and cylindrical bodies that crosscut (discordant) adjacent sediments and are bounded by steep faults

Laccolith: concordant body with a roughly flat base and convex top, usually with a feeder pipe below

Lopolith: concordant body with a roughly flat top and a shallow convex base, may have a feeder d**e or pipe below

Phacolith: concordant lens-shaped pluton that typically occupies the crest of an anticline or trough of a syncline

Volcanic pipe or volcanic neck: a tubular roughly vertical body that may have been a feeder vent for a volcano

Sill: a relatively thin tabular concordant body intruded along bedding planes

Stock: a smaller (less than 100 sq km) irregular discordant intrusive

Boss: a small stock

The largest desert on Earth is Antarctica while the largest "nonpolar" desert is the Sahara.

In terms of sheer size, the Antarctic Desert is the largest desert on Earth, measuring a total of 13.8 million square kilometers.

Antarctica is the coldest, windiest, and most isolated continent on Earth, and is considered a desert because its annual precipitation can be less than 51 mm.
______________

It is hard to represent our spherical world on a flat piece of paper. Cartographers use something called a "projection" to morph the globe into 2D map. The most popular of these is the Mercator projection.

Every map projection introduces distortion, and each has its own set of problems. One of the most common criticisms of the Mercator map is that it exaggerates the size of countries nearer the poles (US, Russia, Europe) while downplaying the size of those near the equator (the African Continent).

On the Mercator projection, Antarctica appears to be larger than all continents combined. In reality, Antarctica is only 13.8 million square kilometers, making it the fifth-largest continent among the seven continents.

HUSBAND SCARCITY...

This may not be the best time for me to write on this because of misinterpretations, but I can no longer resist the push. "Husband Scarcity" has become one of the challenges faced by many young girls today. If you go to Mosques, majority of the intentions are prayer for a life partner. And this calls for concern.

Casting our minds back to the time of our mothers and grandmothers, was there really much of a "Husband Scarcity" problem? Or, maybe there were more men than women then, or there was an adequate corresponding numbers of both genders. I don't think so. Maybe then, the women had values and were prepared to build a home and not park into a built home.

Then, once a young man comes of age and can at least feed himself and his wife, he goes out in search of a wife and the woman really appreciates him and helps him to build a future. What am I really trying to say? We created what we now see as "Husband Scarcity" for ourselves.

Today, the reverse is the case. Ask an average girl to define her dream husband; you get things like "he has to be tall, handsome, fair, and rich, own a house at least, and be presentable" and then she adds "God fearing" in order not to sound so worldly. Then, check the number of girls around you and the number of men that meet that standard, and you will see the problem.

You hear girls say, "I cannot suffer in my father's house and then go and start suffering with a man." What a wonderful dream! What if from the beginning, you have everything you want and there is no suffering, and later in the marriage, the table turns around, then comes suffering? Will you run away? No one prays for suffering, but it is good to start small and end big, than start big and end small.

The problem is that the description majority of girls give of their ideal man is virtually the same. When 50 girls want the same kind of man and the man that fits what they want is just 1 man, and the man can only pick one. Then, what becomes of 49 others? They simply start lamenting of "Husband Scarcity".

Another irony of our time is that it is hard, due to the face of our economy to find a man who is of marriage age who possesses all those things these ladies want, legally (except those involved in Internet fraud); even the number of those in Internet fraud is not enough to match all those searching for already made husbands. If you look around, majority of the ladies of substance, of good value and virtue, who are ready to build a home with a man who has prospects, are married and not complaining of husband scarcity.

The easiest way to find a husband now, is to change your view of who a husband is. A husband is that man Almighty Allāh made and then saw that it may be hard for him to really actualize his purpose for making him, without a help mate and then made the woman and gave to him, and he felt complete and fulfilled MARRIAGE IS NOT A POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAM.

For those who see marriage as a way out of poverty, it is a way into bo***ge. Women are HOME BUILDERS, not HOME WARMERS... DON'T CONFUSE A MAN'S PATH WITH HIS DESTINY. Where he is today, may only be a route to where Allāh has destined him to be tomorrow.

Another truth is that YOU MAY BE THE ONLY FAST MEANS TO THAT HIS DESTINATION. Join in alleviating "husband scarcity". PICK UP THE RIGHT VALUES. I am not saying that you should pick anyone that comes your way and talks of marriage, not all men are husband materials.

What I am saying is that you should stop setting your standard on material acquisitions or physical appearances. Look beyond the physical. WHAT MAKES A MAN WHO HE IS, IS NOT WHAT HE OWNS OR HOW HE LOOKS, IT IS WHAT HE IS MADE UP OF. And that which he is made of is, most times, not seen with the physical eyes, only its effects can be seen.

Marriage is a permanent thing. Whatever is seen is temporal and that which is not seen is permanent.

Indeed, good women are for good men.

May Allāh (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) bless all muslim women with righteous husbands.

SELF REMINDER

A pregnant woman was seated under a tree very thirsty and she needed water but there was no water. Suddenly she saw some drops of water dripping from the tree. She took a cup and started tapping the drops. When water got to half the cup and she was ready to drink, a bird came and knocked the cup down so the water was spilled. It happened three times and the woman felt very bad. She took a stone and killed the bird.
After the bird had died, she saw a big snake coming down from the tree. So she discovered that what she wanted to drink was not really water but poison. She felt so guilty that she had killed the bird that saved her life.

Everytime Allaah (subhaanahu wa ta'ala) is there to protect us. He knows when we are about to take poison but we get so bitter with him when he is trying to help us. Maybe what you thought was water was poison. Drop the pain because there's something better for you.

Hold the Rope of the Lord and keep following him. He will not let you suffer shame in life.

Just take 2 seconds of your time & say Alhamdulillah for the good things he do to you everyday.!

Last Words of Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him )

Suddenly, there was a person, he said salaam.'May I come in ?' he asked. But Fatimah ( radhi Allahu ta'ala anha ) did not allow him to enter the room. 'I'm sorry, my father is ill,' said Fatimah ( radhi allahu ta'ala anha ), turned her body back and closed the door.

She went back to her father who had opened his eyes and asked Fatimah ( radhi allahu ta'ala anha ), 'Who was he, my daughter?'

'I don't know, my father. It was the first time for me to see him ,' Fatimah ( radhi allahu ta'ala anha ) said gently.

Then, Rasulullah ( Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) looked at his daughter with trembled look, as if he wanted to reminisce about every part of her
daughter's face.

'Know one thing ... ! He is who erases the temporary pleasure; he is who separates the companionship in the world. He is the death angel,' said Rasulullah ( Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ).

Fatimah ( radhi allahu ta'ala anha ) bore the bomb of her cry. The death angel came towards him, But Rasulullah ( Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) asked why Jibril
(alaihissalam ) did not come along with him.
Then, Jibril ( alaihissalam ) was called.
Jibril ( alaihissalam ) was ready in the sky to welcome the soul of Habibullah and the
leader of the earth. 'O Jibril, explain me about my rights in front of ALLAH .. ?'

Rasulullah ( salallahu alaihi wasallam ) asked with a weakest voice.

'The doors of sky have opened, the angels are waiting for your soul .'
'All jannats open widely waiting for you,'
Jibril (alaihissalam) said.

But, in fact, all this did not make Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) relieved, his eyes were still full of worry.

'You are not happy to hear this news?' asked Jibril ( alaihissalam ).

'Tell me about the destiny of my people in future?'

'Don't worry, O Rasul ALLAH (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ). I heard ALLAH telling me : 'I make Jannah haram for every one, except the people of Muhammad ( Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) who are inside it,' Jibril ( alaihissalam ) said.

It became closer and closer, the time for
Malaekat Azrail ( alaihissalam ) to do his work. Slowly, Rasulullah's ( salallahu alaihi wasallam ) soul was pulled.

It was seemed that the body of Rasulullah
( salallahu alaihi wasallam ) was full of sweat; the nerves of his neck became tight.

'Jibril ( alaihissalam ), how painful this sakaratul maut is ...!'
Rasulullah ( Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) uttered a groan slowly.

Fatimah (radhi Allahu ta'ala anha) closed her eyes, Ali (radhi Allahu ta'ala anhu) sat beside her bowed deeply and Jibril ( alaihissalam ) turned his face back.

'Am I repugnant to you that you turn your face back o Jibril ...?' Rasulullah ( sulallahu alaihi wasallam ) asked the Deliverer of Wahy.

'Who is the one who could see the Habibullah in his condition of sakaratul
maut,' Jibril ( alaihissalam ) said.

Not for a while, Rasulullah ( Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) uttered a groan because of unbearable pain.

'O ALLAH, how great is this sakaratul maut. Give me all these pains, don't give it to my people.'

The body of Rasulullah ( Sallallahu alaihi
wasallam ) became cold, his feet and chest did not move anymore. His lips vibrated as if he wanted to say something,

Ali (radhi Allahu ta'ala anhu) took his ear close to Rasulullah ( Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ). 'Uushiikum bis shalati, wa maa malakat aimanukum - take care of the saalat and take care the weak people among you.'

Outside the room, there were cries shouted each other, Sahabah held each other.

Fatimah (radhi Allahu ta'alaa anha) closed her face with her hands and, again, Ali ( radhi Allahu ta'ala anhu ) took his ear close to Rasulullah's mouth which became bluish.

'Ummatii, Ummatii, Ummatii ..?' -
'My people, my people, my people.'

And the life of the noble man ended.

Could we love each other like him ...?

Allahumma solli 'ala Muhammad wa baarik wa sallim 'alaihi.

How deep is Rasulullah's (Sallallahu alaihi
wasallam) love to us.

--------

My dear Sisters and brothers in Islam :

I know of a man who lost his parents but refused to be called an orphan.
Man enough to love a strong woman years older than him, worked for her and made her stronger, opened his heart for her, shared his fears to no one but her, was romantic and faithful to her till her last breath.
Cleaned after himself and sewed his clothes.
He was good looking, courageous and fearless.
He never judged anyone on... their past or looks, and was moderate, open minded and tolerant.
His neighbour was Jewish and his cousin-in-law was a Christian priest.
Was beaten and exiled when he was helpless and merciful when he became stronger.
Intelligent, wise and a hard worker, He( Sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) built a long lasting nation out of nothing in the last 20 years of his life.
He had no parents, but loved his daughters and grandchildren.
His last will was "Be good to women".
• This Messenger is our Prophet "Muhammed" (SallAllahu aliyhi wasallam), a man worth looking up to and to follow.

He was calm
He was patient
He was wise
He was honest
He was sincere
He was loving
He was kind
He was strong
He was fair
He was generous
He was forgiving

SOME RECOMMEND SUNNAH SALAAT TO STRIVE FOR

ALLAH’s Messenger (May peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A house will be built in Paradise for one who offers 12 Rak'aat in a day and evening as follows: 4 Rak'aat before and 2 after the Dhuhr Prayer, 2 after the Maghrib Prayer, 2 after the ‘Ishaa’ Prayer and 2 before the Fajr Prayer." Narrated by Imam at-Tirmizi under No. 380. He said: The Hadith narrated by ‘Anbasah quoting Umm Habibah in this chapter is a hassan and sahih hadith. It is under No. 6362 in Sahih al-Jaami’. The 4 rakaats before zuhur and asr has two tashahhud but one tasleem at the end.

The ‘Asr (Late-Afternoon) Prayer has no routine Sunnah (basic recommended voluntary prayer). However, it is mustahab (preferable and recommended) that one prays 4 Rak'aat before the ‘Asr Prayer. The 4 Rak'ahs are the ones intended by the Prophet (May peace and blessings be upon him) in saying: "May Allaah have mercy on one who prays 4 raka’aat before the ‘Asr Prayer." Narrated by at-Tirmidhi no. 395 and he declared it a hassan and ghareeb Hadith. Sheikh Al-Albany rated the Hadith as hassan in Sahih al-Jami’ No. 3493.

May ALLAH aid us to be able to offer them for HIS sake. Aameen.
