Where do I start?

MPL MY S12 has come to a close and I am still processing this entire journey. I finally have some time to just sit down, indulge in this post-event clarity and reflect on what has happened for the past month or two.

My first MLBB debut was M1, then MPL MY S5, then I went off to explore what's out there, casting different titles that spans multiple different genres. A lot has happened since then. I won't go into detail about the years that have elapsed but suffice to say, I have grown a lot as a talent and as a person.

A year ago, I made the decision to pursue MLBB again after a long long time. It wasn't an easy choice to make, I had no idea what to expect. I've been away for so long that a lot has changed since I last stepped into the studio for MPL, new faces and an ever more competitive landscape, everything had evolved into a new era that I wasn't familiar with.

I was also looking for a sense of belonging. I was searching for a place to call home, with people who share the same visions and goals as me, who would accept me for who I am but also sit me down when needed. It was a period of soul-searching and exploration.

Despite all the doubts I had about myself, I knew what I wanted. I knew I would have to start from scratch, go through an audition and begin from square one, but I was ready. I knew that MPL was where I wanted to be.

Fast forward time, I became the latest addition to the English broadcast, and the league started just like that. I got to fulfil a lot of goals and personal milestones during this entire season. I finally managed to work on my content the way I wanted to, a short series called 'Key Frame' which I cover key winning moments of the teams competing. Being able to capture the best of the players and share my knowledge was a happy thing for me. I got to experience working with talented people, passionate ones, who all strive for the same degree of success and perfection, that motivated me a lot. Everyone was warm and accommodating, I didn't feel foreign even though that was what I expected in the beginning. Some attendees even approached me for photos, telling me they remember me from M1 or S5, it was a memorable moment, I never thought people would remember nor did it cross my mind that it was significant to me.

I got to walk on my first ever red carpet in my career, the crowd was electric, standing in front of the camera, signing my signature, it was a surreal feeling that made me feel like that was where I am meant to be. My mom was there, she came to see me. I got to cast the Grand Finals, and what a series it was. A full BO7 that I would gladly trade my voice for again and again and again.

I want to thank every single person who has given me this chance and trusted my leap of faith. People who gave me the opportunity to slowly dip my toes in back into the game, Snapdragon Pro Series was that gateway, and I am grateful. I want to thank my friends who kept me going throughout this journey, checking up on my prep, both physically and mentally, friends who constantly reassured me that this will become a reality, friends who believed in me and went the extra mile just to make sure that I believed in myself. Friends who came down to the venue just to support me. Of course this also extends to those I share the league with, the talents who are all incredible in their own ways, warm and hospitable, willing to guide me when I was lost and treated me as one of their own. On top of that, the makeup artists, the production crew, everyone for putting in their all whether it's to make me look good on camera, or to make sure the show runs smoothly. Not to forget Moonton as well, for giving me this opportunity to be the voice of some of the most historical moments in the game, for welcoming me back. I am happy to be back, I am so happy.

It has been one hell of a season, and being able to lend my voice for the entire journey is an honor, a privilege that I will cherish forever. I dedicate this season to everyone who was a part of it.

During the finals moments of Homebois winning, I remembered shouting at the top of my lungs, "DREAMS DO COME TRUE!". After the trophy was lifted, I realized how relatable that sentence was. Dreams do come true, it came true for Homebois, and for me as well. We all achieved something this season.

This is just the beginning of a wonderful journey. I can feel it. It will only get better from here on out. Like I said on the red carpet, "MPL MY feels like home".

Got my first ever 10k views on TikTok!

This 'Key Frame' series has been something I've been wanting to do for more than a year and I'm so happy that I'm able to bring it to life for MPL!

When I first started this, the goal is to take a deep dive into certain big moments in a game (for a different game title) and break the elements down one by one.

Fast forward to a month ago, I decided to shift my focus and change my approach towards making short, informative content highlighting certain plays, decision making and rationale behind the best MPL moments so that the general audience can learn a thing or two about the game
