She’s absorbed in her own thoughts, a discreet location. She is pregnant, the child has its own separate existence or developing consciousness. This painting is an object of exquisite balance. Entrance affords the viewer a stable, peaceful respite.⁣

Our friends MOCA | The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles just released an amazing short documentary on Mocatv about the Colby Poster Printing Company, narrated by Craig Stecyk and directed by the artist with Felipe Lima.

Stecyk visits the company to make one last print and expounds on its enduring appeal to anyone who ever wanted to leave a mark of their own in the city of signs.
