It's the reason for the season so I'm doing a last minute fundraiser for Reggae / Gospel artist Carol "Sweet C" Panton's church! She's an incredible inspiration to me and while times are certainly tough everywhere, this is a worthy cause! It's the third time I've done this with and for her and the pictures are always very moving of the congregation giving out food to the people who are living in what certainly could be described as dire conditions in their community.

~ This year, to celebrate the season, I'll be raising $200 to help sponsor a church dinner in Kingston, Jamaica for my dear friend, Carol Panton's Community Christmas function where many are fed. Please consider donating to this community Christmas dinner! Anything helps. I always share proof of funds delivered, photos of the event, after. Your help really makes a difference. I've known Carol almost 15 years. She's helped me in so many ways that I can't begin to describe in my music career, with personal guidance, production connections and singing for mine, etc. I love her dearly and owe her this. A Gideon Music House production was featured in Americana Highways, ya'll! 🏜️

"Lonesome Desert Strum” is Gideon on lead vocals; Savannah Driebe on backing vocals; Dave Roe Rorick on bass; Pete Abbott on drums; Kenny Vaughan on lead and rhythm guitar; and Larry Chaney on baritone and steel guitar. With a low Western country intro, David Gideon spins a tale of spooky lonesome darkness with an noir edge. His style is the suspense of the dark Southwestern desert. The video works in moonlight scenes outside of town, with flickering flames and deer emerging from unknown shadows to bring the song’s imagery to visual life.
