I’m actively taking steps to make my mark as a petite & plus-size fashion/beauty creator, and get back into modeling. // I’m terrified. But I’ve been terrified before, and here’s where that got me:✨ I always strived to be a wallflower, but I pursued modeling. In just 18 months:➡️ Scored my first magazine cover ➡️ Published in 10+ other magazines➡️ Select as a brand ambassador for 2 boutiques➡️ Walked in FOUR runway shows (INCLUDING NYFW)✨ Writing has been an outlet of mine for years. So I started taking my poetry seriously. In less than 6 months:➡️ Submitted 2+ manuscripts➡️ Featured on 2 lit mags’ websites➡️ Published 2 poems in printed lit mags➡️ Chosen as an editor’s pick for a multi-genre lit mag // These are just two examples of how I chose to stare fear in the face and refuse to back down. The journey to those successes were agonizing and met with heaps of rejection. But I didn’t back down. So go and do what you really want to do. Do it scared and trembling if you must—just do it. Refuse to let fear or rejection stop you from going after what you want in this life ♥️
