Hilario Duran's 'Paca Por Juanito' echoes the rhythms of guitarist, arranger, composer, and conductor Juanito Marquez, a testament to the vibrant heritage of Cuban music.

Duran himself stated “He was one of the greatest musicians of Cuba. I learned how to arrange for big band, by studying his scores in my early years.”

'Cry Me a River' further enriches this fusion, showcasing Duran's mastery in uniting Cuban influences into a revolutionary sound.

On Monday, Hilario Durán took center stage at the iconic Blues Alley in Washington, DC, leading the phenomenal U.S. Army big band for the very first live U.S. performances of tracks from Hilario’s remarkable new Big Band album 'Cry Me a River.'

The U.S. Army Blues celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with special guest Cuban-Canadian Pianist, Composer, Arranger Hilario Duran.

The album, 'Cry Me a River,' was released worldwide on all platforms on September 8, exclusively on Alma Records.

Last night was incredible! JAZZ.FM 91 and Alma Records presented the album launch and worldwide film premiere for “Cry Me A River” by Hilario Durán and his Latin Jazz Big Band at the Universal Music Canada’s new studios to an electrified packed house.

Cry Me A River is a masterpiece, blending Afro-Cuban rhythms with incredible jaw-dropping arrangements. From "Claudia" to the tribute "Pacá por Juanito" and the unforgettable "I Remember Mingus," every track is a musical journey.

The violin solo in "Cry Me A River" by Elizabeth Rodríguez is pure magic, and "Fantasia Impromptu" featuring Paquito D’Rivera on clarinet is a fusion of jazz and classical brilliance.

Cry Me A River will be out on all streaming platforms on Friday, exclusively on Alma Records.
