And our final two books!

The Gift of Christmas, by Drew Duncan, which releases Dec 4

For six years widower Derek has been alone for Christmas.

This year, his sister tricks him into revisiting some holiday traditions with their family, determined to bring her brother back to life.

Enter Bryan, a single photographer who gives Derek a seasonal snapshot of what life could be like if he let go of his grief.

Is Derek ready for festive fun once more, and is Bryan the one to give him back the gift of Christmas?

The Gift of Christmas is a MM holiday/Christmas romance inspired by A Christmas Carol, set in a small town in the USA/America. It has an element of hurt/comfort, a cheeky yet meddling older sister, and a chance at happiness for the holidays.

Re-Writing Christmas by Kyra Lennon

When Nova heads to her elderly neighbour’s house for their regular afternoon tea, she’s greeted by an unfamiliar face.

Donovan, her neighbour’s grandson and renowned travel blogger, has been forced to return to England for the first time in ten years to spend some time with his recently widowed grandmother. It isn't long before Nova realises that Donovan is actually "little Donnie", the boy she played with during the Christmas holidays, when his family visited town to see their relatives. Now, he's tall, broad, and sexy, and the attraction between them soon begins to crackle.
However, in the twenty years since they last saw each other, the fun-loving kid Nova used to know has hardened into a cynical adult. Unwilling to deal with his self-centred attitude, Nova sets out to remind him that small-town life isn't the drag he's making it out to be.

Will she be able to melt his cold heart, or will he walk away leaving Nova's childhood Christmas memories tainted forever?

Re-Writing Christmas is a standalone small-town friends to lovers holiday romance set in England (UK). It has elements of hurt/comfort and grumpy/sunshine, along with a feisty grandmother, and large amounts of Hallmark-esque festive cuteness.

With her office Christmas dinner approaching, and the lack of a boyfriend to accompany her, Olivia drunkenly books a date with Rent-a-Hunter.

The following morning, she almost cancels, but her best friend talks her into it with the famous last words “what’s the worst that could happen?” I mean, sure. She could get scammed for a couple hundred dollars. But maybe she could end up enjoying herself.

When she meets Hunter, she starts to think it could be a good idea. He’s charming, likeable, and did she mention, hot?

Could what starts out as a business transaction end up as a more meaningful connection?

The Towers by H.L Heidemann

Pandemic, recession, war. That’s how it goes. On repeat, no matter how many years have passed. There was only so much our country could take, before the Government built the Towers Projects. Nice contained communities. Designed, to keep us free from disease and conflict. Or so they told us.

Maybe the world was different now? Maybe we could leave and find out for ourselves? No, the powers that be want to keep us safe and compliant. They want good, healthy little pools of new soldiers.
I’ve lived in The Towers for the last ten years. Reliving the same, mundane existence within these sterile walls.

Until one day, Daniel Lauder came to me with a *now or never* offer of freedom. Could I take it and leave The Towers? Leave my family and my friends? Or would I be destined to stay here as a pawn in whatever game our Government is playing?

As well as our November releases, a number of books were mentioned in the episode as great examples of the enemies-to-lovers trope. Here are the blurbs and buy links for those books.

Paper Coffins: A dark mafia romance, by Kirsty-Anne Still

My father always said trust was like a paper coffin.
One naked flame and it was gone.
I didn’t know how right he was until he died, and I was resurrected.

I thought I was brought back to roam the world in his wake, stronger and fiercer than he ever knew possible, but that was only the start of the lie.

The devil doesn’t need light to shine, I just needed a match and a fuse.

-

There are three things you can be certain of in this life:
* We are born.
* We will die.
* People lie.

That last one’s the most complex matter of the three. Lies were what made me, shaped me, and ultimately destroyed me.
I thought I was the devil in this story, but I was yet to meet my match.
And she’s about to rip this world apart.

-
PAPER COFFINS is a full-length STANDALONE dark mafia romance which plays a modern twist on Romeo and Juliet, and has intense chemistry, rival lovers, and extreme levels of angst. This book does contain scenes of a sexual nature, mature language, and does handle some extremely dark subject matters that may make some readers uncomfortable.

_____

Love at the Lottie by Toya Richardson

Fresh produce isn’t the only thing that grows at the lottie.
Felicity Donaldson loved her life just fine. Working from home with human contact kept to a minimum. Perfect. When she takes over her aunt’s plot at the local allotment, her life becomes complicated. One person in particular seems able to press all her buttons… and not the good kind.
Luke King enjoys his time spent at the allotment. It takes him away from his boring job and lets him have the freedom he needs. He always thought of himself as a pretty laidback kind of guy… until a fiery redhead appears on the scene. Her snarky demeanour only makes him want to push her more.
When things turn from loathing to lust, will it be just a fling, or will it grow like the produce into something more satisfying?

Ivy
There’s a reason they say not to fall in love with your brother’s best friend; it’s because it ruins your life, but I’m not going to let him wreck the first opportunity I get to meet my new nephew.
Now, I’m going home, back to the scene of the crime, and I’m over him, totally over him. It’s going to be fine, isn’t it?
Nick
It’s been five years since she walked out that door and ran as fast as she could away from me. Five years that I’ve missed her, loved her even, and now I have the opportunity to show her what she’s missing.
There are lies hidden in the loss, but is she ready to hear them? Is she willing to be mine after all?

Wolf Kissed (Supernaturally Yours Book 2) by S Lucas, releases in November, available on Amazon only. https://books2read.com/wolfkissed...
--
The world used to belong to humans until the supernaturals took over. They crawled out of the depths of depravity to take whatever they wanted from us. Nowhere is safe now, not for humans at least.
I lived most of my life in the Wolf Sector, under constant fear that I would be forced to mate against my will. When I finally left and moved to the West Coast for a new job opportunity, I thought the only monsters I had to worry about were vampires.
Turns out I was wrong. I learnt that the hard way when rogue wolves kidnapped me and other women for their own sadistic pleasures. Even after we were rescued and taken to a sanctuary, turns out my nightmare didn't end there.
I leave once again, and now I’m being hunted. Back to the very sector I ran from in the first place. I end up in the arms of three mysterious men who vow to protect me, but can I trust them? Or am I jumping from the frying pan into the fire?
*This is a why choose story with content not suitable for those under 18 years of age due to graphic scenes and situations.*
