As some might remember at the end of 2019, I got a bunch of tokusatsu shows on DVD, including the last four volumes of my childhood favorite Kikaida.
So 2020 was going to be a great time, but it turns out one of the disc was faulty and I had to get a replacement.
I just finished the entire run of Kikaida. As a bonus on the last disc, they includes the theatrical released 3D special, which I had seen in the theater in 1975.
The DVD came with some generic 3D glasses that didn't seem to work very well. Watching it I had forgotten that only a few scenes were in 3D and you had to be told to put you glasses on.
So I checked my stash of 3D glasses to see if I had some that would work better (I have always keeped my 3D glasses).
And look what I found...
And yes they worked better than the new ones!
