"As the divorced couple Elliot and Amanda, Troy Bullock and Nathalie Cattaneo do a wonderful job conveying the campy energy and preposterous pomp of the characters. The accents are lushous and the performances of Elleia Russell (who also directs) and Joshua Qualie as the gormless love foils for the lead pairs are precise and humorous."

The Anywhere Theatre Festival is all about experiencing the arts and theatre...ANYWHERE!
The festival is running from the 10th - 27th of May in Brisbane, Noosa and the Sunshine Coast and is unlike any other festival or performances in the World.

THE CHARACTERS YOU'LL HATE, LOVE AND LAUGH AT(and maybe even see a little of yourself in)!

Who will you meet when you come to see our production of Noel Coward's 'Private Lives.?
Without giving too much away, we introduce to you the character of *****Elyot********.
In previous stage productions, Elyot has been played by Richard Burton, Alan Rickman, Matthew Macfadyen and Toby Stephens - just to name a few.
Elyot Chase is newly married and once divorced. He is handsome, flighty, witty, irreverent, sophisticated and pleasure seeking.

INTRODUCING: Josh Qualie
Josh is an accomplished actor and Strong Lodger Productions is very lucky to have him in the role of 'Victor' in the upcoming live theatre production of Noel Coward's 'Private Lives' as part of the Anywhere Theatre Festival.
Some fast facts about Josh:
He recently had the lead male role in Agatha Christie's: 'Love from a stranger' and Robin Hawdon's: 'I do, I do, I do.' both at the ACT1 Theatre in Strathpine.
Away from the theatre, Josh has had a career in the Navy including three years at sea and one tour of Iraq.

Strong Lodger Productions is performing Noel Coward's 'Private Lives' at not one but TWO venues in Brisbane this MAY.
The production is part of the Anywhere Theatre Festival which is all about experiencing theatre ANYWHERE!
We are extremely grateful to one of our venues - The Commissariat Store for letting us bring theatre to one of Brisbane's beautiful heritage buildings.
The Commissariat Store is one of only two surviving buildings from the convict period in Queensland and is one of only four surviving commissariat buildings in Australia.
It is the second oldest building in Queensland, dated to 1829, the oldest building being the Windmill at Wickham Park, dated to 1828.

INTRODUCING: Nathalie Cattaneo
Nathalie is a founding member of Strong Lodger Productions and producer and actor for the upcoming stage production of 'Private Lives' by Noel Coward.
Nathalie hails from Perth and will be playing the character of Amanda. Nathalie recently starred in the Chelmer Centenary Theatre productions of Ray Cooney's 'Run for your wife' and Stanley Walsh's 'The Spring Heeled Terror of Stepney Green'.
Nathalie works as a digital journalist and studied journalism at Murdoch University in Perth.
'Private Lives' is a tumbling marital farce that is wickedly vicious, sparklingly witty and shamelessly flirtatious.
The production is part of the Anywhere Theatre Festival - a festival unlike any other arts festival - that doesn't have a fence with an entry pass - you won't find it in the theatres and theatre is only half of it!

INTRODUCING: Troy Bullock

Troy is a founding member and a hardworking and talented producer and actor at Strong Lodger Productions.
Troy's career spans several creative industries including publishing, game development, live theatre, film and television and he now works as a secondary teacher - teaching English, geography and history.
Troy has not one - but two degrees - a teaching degree and a Bachelor of creative industries in television and creative writing.
Troy will be playing the character of 'Elyot' in Strong Lodger's Production of Noel Coward's 'Private Lives' - A live theatre performance showing this May as part of the Anywhere Theatre Festival.

Strong Lodger productions will be performing Noel Coward's play 'Private Lives' at the beautiful Newstead House in Brisbane this May.
Newstead House Brisbane is Brisbane's oldest surviving residence and is located on the Breakfast Creek bank of the Brisbane River.
It has a long and rich history as a family home, as housing for American troops in World War II, a research library, and now a museum.
We are so excited to be performing in this beautiful space and grateful to Newstead House Brisbane and the Anywhere Theatre Festival for allowing us to bring Noel Coward's work to one of Brisbane's beloved heritage buildings.
