I’ve always strive to keep it real with you guys and lately I don’t feel like i’ve been doing the best job. So here I am speaking my truth about how I feel right now and maybe some of you can feel a little less alone too.

I’m terrified of the future. I feel lost and unsure of where my life will be in 3, 6, 8 months from now. I sense the impending doom of receiving rejection letters from schools that I’m not qualified for. I’m overanalyzing how admissions officers will react to my nontraditional job, how they will judge me based on other people’s careless use of social media. I question the
what-ifs of every decision & grade. I feel like an imposter in every aspect of my life and presume that everyone else is killin’ it around me when I know we’re all just trying not to loose our minds. I’m writing this not in search of affirmation, but out of a need to just say what goes through my head every day. We are human. I’m not perfect, and I want to share this to say I’m right there with you if you’re comparing your success to other person’s virtual life you see on here. Just remember success is relative. You’re doing your best. No one really has it all figured out. What’s ahead on our path is unknown, but I hope these feelings of uncertainty will make whatever eventually comes our way oh so sweet ❤️ hang in there, I’m right there with ya.

Not quite as fun as my GS skis, but pretty darn close.

Feeling extra grateful today for friends that keep me motivated, a loving family, people who are working to make this country a better place, and the great outdoors for always being there for us when we feel like everything else is being taken away. This may not be the perfect day we envisioned, but it is the perfect time to remember what holds us together. Happy thanksgiving everyone, I’m thankful for you ❤️

You guys know I love wearing my mask because it keeps myself and those around me safe, but like many others I’ve been noticing some maskne creep in. Lately I’ve been in a bit of a skin rut, and although my mask hides those pesky imperfections in public, I want glowing skin at home too! I’ve been using 3-step Acne Solutions line to help combat my acne by cleansing, exfoliating, and treating. With Salysitic Acid to remove dead skin cells that clog pores and Laminaria Saccharina extract to prevent oil buildup, this is a power trio of products. The clearing gel has been my go-to grab every morning and night as a spot treatment & I’m so glad I have it in my toolbox to fight these bummer blemishes. 🥊

IT’S DONE. My Portland apartment is officially complete and I feel so lucky to call this sweet spot home. Huge shoutout to for helping me finish this space with the beautiful , & , and adorable ! Today I graduated my Nursing Assistant training program. It all started here with good ol’ Mr. Jones and today I wrapped up the end of my clinical experience. I’ve been through long days and early mornings, crazy messes and sweet moments. I wish I could fully express the gratitude I have for this humbling experience, but I don’t know if thank you’s will ever be enough. I’m grateful to the staff for taking us in and sharing their space, the residents for being patient and kind, and most importantly my inspiring instructor who has solidified my decision to pursue nursing even more.

I challenge you to explore the hard jobs. Learn how systems work from the bottom so you can walk with patience, be apt to lend a hand, & open your mind to the big picture. After today, I’m one state exam away & I’ll officially be a CNA ❤️🩺
