Entrepreneurs and start-ups are our future. To encourage more youth joining and founding start-ups, LeanTrack, a global youth entrepreneurial ecosystem enabler based in New Delhi, India and START Berlin, a student run organisation in Berlin with a vision to connect students to the startup scene in Berlin, conducted a workshop on start-up basics on the 23rd July 2018. LeanTrack founder and global entrepreneurial ecosystems researcher, Shubham Kumar, conducted a workshop on the importance of networking and story-telling for entrepreneurs. According to Shubham, "More than products and services, people get drawn to relations and stories. Associating your product with a story can provide it with a competitive edge over others in the market, making story telling a very productive tool for entrepreneurs".

In November, START Berlin will conduct START Call, Berlin’s largest entrepreneurship summit for students. If you are interested in founding your own start-up, attend this conference and learn more about how to start up. 😊

The German Startups Association is co-organising the scale11 event during the CeBIT. Under the umbrella of scale11, selected Indian start-ups have this year for the first time the opportunity to participate in the speeddating during the CeBIT with representatives and CIOs of German corporates such as Volkswagen, Schindler Digital Business or Kaufland. The speeddating provides an exclusive first contact to members of the “CEBIT executive club” and the “scale11 Investors Club”. With more than 300 startups from 40 countries presenting their business model on the scale11 platform in hall 27 of the CeBIT fair, it’s also a good chance to see what’s the next big start-up idea.

If you want to be part of the speeddating, quickly apply. There are only five spots available. Applications are opened till the 31st May 2018.
