A note to the people that share stuff about folks in the local Rant pages, there’s a reason the police have the authority by laws both criminal and civil to share and to post stuff like this. It’s ok to share this stuff posted by the police, however, it’s not as cool or good or even legal when someone does it to someone about another person and there’s no records either with the police, or, there’s no serious threat. Think about this as people share stories and images and warnings about another person when really we all don’t know the details, it could be he said she said, it could be fake accounts or new accounts sharing false info. It could be goofy shady businesses trying to harm their competitors. Please think before you post, check before you share, and verify before you engage in public banter about others …
