THE LIFE THAT MANY WILL NOT UNDERSTAND:
I ride a motorcycle because of a personal life choice. One day when I am very old and when I can not ride anymore, it will be in my garage as a trophy of my memories.
I have met people who taught me something and have the same spirit.
I meet people now who get wisdom from me.
I get wet,
I get cold,
And I have been hot,
I was afraid,
I fell,
And I stood up,
I even hurt myself,
But also, I laughed out loud with the wind.
I spoke a thousand times with myself and God. Still do.
I sang and shouted with joy like a madman,
And yes ... sometimes I cried.
I have seen wonderful places because of motorcycles.
I have made curves that even my brothers and sisters would be proud of; other times I made curves full of terror.
I stopped many times to see a landscape.
I spoke with perfect strangers.
I go out with frustrations inside and return home with a feeling of absolute peace in my heart.
I always think how dangerous it is, knowing that the meaning of courage is to advance even feeling fear.
Every time I go up to my ride I think about how wonderful it is. I learned through gestures to communicate with other riders.
I've given up many things, but it's all worth it...
My bike is not a means of transportation but is a piece of iron with wheels that God has blessed me with, it's part of who I am.

May God bless my friends and their joy of great people & motorcycles!

As I sit here and ponder on roads left to wonder. I feel the loathing inside for current cold times. My mind drifts off to days full of wind in my face and warming sun rays. I'm getting impatient waiting on spring sure I could bundle up for a quick trip but it's not the same thing. I'm planning a trip maybe the mountains or the beach hell the way I feel now maybe one of each. I'm sure you know the feeling all to well so come this spring let's give it hell

Oh to know the freedom of brids, to be able to express ones joy by song not words. To soar over mountians and rivers and hills the closest we can come is up on two wheels. The wind in your hair no destination in mind, no quota to meet, no missed dead line. The roar of the pipes seem to give the bike life no worries in the world every thing is just fine. Faster or slower your in control unlike in life when you just have to go with the flow. The peacefulness is complimented by the gentle squeeze from your love who is trying to say she thanks the lord up above. For giving her a chance to share this with you and for even a moment making it feel like it was just you two. I bid you a due my brothers and friends as I pass you while riding ill wave with a grin.

A biker with no bike is like a bird with no wings, a fish with no fins, a woman with no credit card. They are just not complete.

On this Memorial Day I want to leave you with a thought. Most of the big M.Cs that we all know were founded by soldiers that returned from war and the only way they could find peace was on two wheels. These soldiers formed bonds and clubs. This holiday is for us to remember those who have fallen to protect our freedom. Most bikers live with memories of the fallen everyday lost brothers and family. The only word I can find to say is Thank You. And that is no where enough.

I have a beard, tattoos, like to wear leather, and I love to ride my Harley. What does that say about me? To some im a criminal, dirty, jobless, a thug, a true blue low life. However I am simply a dad, a son, a brother, an uncle, a scoutmaster, an all around good guy. Dont judge me by my looks judge me by my deeds. Im sure I would come to your aid before you would come to mine.

What is better than a cold day of riding ?

Share your stories of the spring start up. Good, bad, funny where did you go? Where are you headed? And I guess the BIG question any new bikes?

There is nothing quite like the feeling you get on your bike for the first time in spring. All the built up frustration waiting on spring and the warm weather it brings comes to a head as your wiping your bike down freeing it from six months of dust. You eagerly climb on and pull the choke and after what seems like forever the first pop then a few then throttle and it all most time. You give her some time since its been as long for her as it has been for you and once she warms up its off you go. All smiles and free once again from the freezing weather you open it up and let those horses breath then you realize maybe if you would have waited a few more hours you wouldn’t be suddenly freezing and quickly headed home. Hahaha happy spring guys.

A woman and her daughter were in a car accident. When the woman was checking to see if the little girl was ok she noticed alot of blood coming from a cut on her neck. She prayed frantically for God to send her help. She grabbed her cell phone and called 911 as she was explaining the situation a man on a Harley noticed the wreck and pulled over to see if he could help. He was all patched out and in full leathers. He noticed all the blood and started knocking on the window. He heard the woman tell the operator please hurry now there's a motorcycle gang member trying to attack her. There was nothing he could do she wouldn't open the door and the more he tried to talk to her the more frantic she got. He stood there looking on as the little girl died. As police arrived on the scene the man gave his statement and rode away. This was devastating to him so much in fact he forgot to get his coat he had place on the ground while trying to help. The police checked the coat to see what (gang) he was riding with and he saw a patch that read " Brotherhood of Doctors MC". God had heard the mothers prayers and sent her a doctor but because he was dressed in leather she refused the help. You see being a 1% er doesn't make you a biker. Its the love of bikes and the open road that defines you.

I saw an old man ragged and worn all bundled up trying to keep warm. He sat on a bench just off the street and I thought to myself he’s one I’d like to meet. I approached with a smile and he did the same I sat down beside him and asked for his name. He said I am a soldier I fought in Vietnam some call me hero but you can call me Sam. I said for a hero you look sad and alone. He said I used to have it all a wife, kids and a home. But the war messed my mind up you see, so even if I don’t mean to I hurt those close to me. I’ve lost everything now that I love, all I have left is the man up above. But don’t be concerned no don’t worry although it seems bad that’s not the end of the story. I have my pride and when that’s not enough I hit my knees and send prayers above. I thank God for my life and my fallen brothers I thank him for my ex-wife and many many others. After talking with Sam I made sure he knew I thank God for him and the red white and blue.

Take time today and thank a vet.

Crusing along minding my own and some guy pulls out texting on the phone. He didnt see me and where are the cops? So live or die its up to me to stop. I let off the gas and down shift real slow will it be enough only god knows. The sound of gravel gives me the chills I press the breaks easy and my tires start to squeal. I finaly slow down and pull off the road the driver drives on he didnt even know. Its quite an event Im sure you can see not for him only for me. So next time you drive take my advice dont text and drive and look twice for bikes it could save a life.

Feel the rumble hear the roar, the feeling you feel is like none before, the smells, the chills, the sights, the thrills, are all just a part of cruising on two wheels.

Bless my brothers, Bless our bikes, Bless the roads we cruise tonight, Bless our tavels as we roam till we make it safely home.
