I'm glad he expired, but Gleyber will get paid well next winter. The market pays guys that can hit (clearly lol). Gleyber's posted an OPS+ above league average in six of seven MLB seasons, while having a near .800 OPS in almost 200 October PAs. Hitters get paid.

Credit to Jamal Mosley last night who really devised an effective attack against the Knick offense. Magic put elite individual defense on Brunson and paired it w/ seamless rotational recoveries whenever Hart screened the switch. Knicks countered adequately but struggled forcing help to create any quantity of three-point looks.

Magic demonstrated exceptional defensive foresight by pre-switching Goga back to KAT during early offense, particularly when the Knicks attempted to post him. They were able to effectively neutralize KAT as a deep post threat. It's something that's exposed vulnerability in the Knicks' offense before. They'll need to conquer this if they intend to rely on their offense as a postseason identity.

I had such high hopes for a lot of those guys the Yankees started grooming in 2015-2018. Bird, Miggy, Frazier, Sevy, Gary. No World Series, and not one of them amounted to be much at all, sans Sevy (kinda). Yankees better know what they're doing with this next core of prospects.

Ha-Seung Kim is an extremely average hitter, but doesn’t chase out of the zone, low whiff, low K, & can handle a fastball. His glove is also elite & he can run. Still want Bregman, but Kim would fit well w/ the Yankees if they’re giving up on power and doubling down on speed/def.
