[直播預告] Bankunawa: Musical Showcase 馬尼拉音樂發表會 at Oomph
BuwanBuwan Collective 馬尼拉的beatmakers組織，以每月一次舉辦beat cypher活動來培育當地場景。

明天下午2:00在 （ ）藝文沙龍有一個講座 Bakunawa: Taipei Workshop 音樂製作工作營，與本地beatmaker Conehead 錐頭, Dropp來進行交流。
而當晚將由當地的五位表演者表演，歡迎一起前來體驗Manila beat scene！

Bakunawa: Taipei【Musical Showcase】

BAKUNAWA is a monthly beat exploration, experimentation, and cypher started in 2012 that served as the cultivating grounds for Manila's beat-scene. Named after a pre-colonial Filipino practice involving townsfolk warding off a mythical sea serpent of the same name through the music, Bakunawa attempts to create the same atmosphere by gathering local electronic musicians and beat makers. With music as its medium, Bakunawa is many things at once: a ritual, a community gathering, and an exploration of music.

The aim is to cultivate a deeper understanding of the relationship between music and sound as an art. It also exists to unearth and foster a more substantial and refined approach to expression/appreciation/management in the realm of sound.

***This musical showcase features 5 artists from the Philippines, each performing for 30 minutes to bring you a taste of the Manila beat scene***
