On February 23 we observe the 49th anniversary of our Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
We have asserted our identity as a independent and sovereign state. We have overcome major setbacks and have now fully joined the community of nations that is free and democratic.
Our Guyana today remains peaceful, stable and orderly; with a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural population that is striving daily to realise the goal of being one, united Guyanese people, as one nation with a common destiny.
We are on the eve of our Golden Jubilee as a Republic, and on the cusp of realising our economic potentials for unprecedented wealth.
On this historic occasion, I send fraternal greetings to all Guyanese. I ask that we remain vigilant and resolved. We cannot return to the past. We must continue along the road of change and transformation

Echos From The Plantation screened at the National Cultural Center in Guyana. The movie was seen by children in Form Three and higher from many schools both public and private. We are so happy and proud of this moment.

Last Saturday, Echos from the Plantation was screened at Arya Spiritual Center which was very heart warming seeing these youths preform before the screening.
