Plastiq Musiq "the old sounds of tomorrow..." An electronic music label and workshop specializing in analog synt

Said Fantasy, Travelogue, Cascading Slopes, Winterlisch, Relic Pop, Nikmis, Joy Electric, PQMQ. Workshop

Plastiq Musiq is an electronic music record label created by Ronnie Martin of the band Joy Electric in the spring of 1997 with the simple desire to provide people with a musical style, sound, and vision that could build upon itself throughout the years. Martin set out to release pop music made

primarily with analog synthesizers—not to rehash what had already been done in the 70's & 80's, but to pick up where those artists so abruptly left off when technology moved on. "Yesterdays vision of the future" is how we've always thought of it and from the very beginning Plastiq has been focused on electronic bands who are making structured, melodic songs with tangible and intriguing sounds.
