I know that iHero Superhero stories are about the real lives of people with powers but I would like to know what do you think about the controversy going on right now about gender and race swamping from the big studios. Would you do this to a iHero Superhero?

While this novella is technically not set in the iHero universe, the inspiration originally came from the work of iHero publisher and founder, Frank Fradella. Many years ago, Frank released a Tarot Card deck with a superhero theme. It gave me an idea: Wouldn't it be cool to have a team of heroes with powers based on the major arcana? Although this story and that deck are not related one to one, the Fradella Adventure Tarot was certainly the inspiration behind "The Arcana." So with that, let me offer you a free superhero novella. Written by Matt Hiebert and inspired by the work of Frank Fradella.

Real Kick-Asses. I like it. This is what I, Hero's stories are based on. The real lives and adventures of every day heroes. Whether SuperHuman or not, you can make a difference. Look at Batman for crying out loud. He is based on a true story - and now he's a megahit.

Self-cast crime fighters are on the march, but whether they are making the world safer or just weirder remains an open question.

We had a spectacular weekend at MegaCon! Great to meet so many of you out there!

MEGACON! What a blast! It was our first official show of 2011 and we were so happy to be out there meeting with the fans and getting the word out. We were exhibiting the full iHero line this time around (our award-winning superhero imprint) and folks really took to it. The feedback was spectacular.
