Restare Uniti has been shortlisted on Denmark's "Ekkoshortlist Potential 10 list". Being in the top 10 of this list is looked to as one of the new up and coming talent pools in the film circles in Europe, so if you could watch and rate the film that would be great! We are deeply saddened to learn of Tommaso D'Orsogna's passing. He was an incredible man and so full of life and joy. He built an empire and contributed to society like a true Australian. I just hope we can share Tom's important story and commitment with the others that were affected and the rest of Australia. Even after being imprisoned for 4 years during the war he decided to stay here as did many other Italian men and their families and they have all contributed to our society in so many ways... Food, Architecture, Politics, Education, Building, Art the list goes on. As we go on, we should cherish Tom and these early pioneers that helped build the place we call home today and we should also take some lessons from the past and try not to repeat our mistakes again. So spare a thought for Tom and these men that were the true definition of the Powerful Aussie Battlers we aspire to be today.

We have an opportunity for one more volunteer role on Greenfield for any of you filmies out there that would like to be involved. We need a 2nd AD. The shoot dates are from July 17 and will be 21 shooting days all up with one day off every week. All living expenses will be taken care of. The shoot is in Merredin and we will be staying in a 1920s renovated theatre (with heating) send your details to [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook.

Hey guys if you are interested in helping to create the world of Greenfield and have some experience working with film we still have a couple of minor crew volunteer roles left to fill!

We need a smooth Boom operator, An enthusiastic Set runner, A strong Grip/Camera Assistant, an organised Unit manager and a Creative Art Department Assistant.

All volunteers will be looked after with accommodation in a refurbished 1920s theatre and food for the entire shoot in Merredin and it will be a pretty great experience with some of WA's finest film makers.

FINALLY!! After a long but successful wait running the festival circuit the last couple of years, and due to demand we have decided to release the entire short film Restare Uniti - We Stick Together online today. We hope that everyone who hasn't had a chance to see the film yet can have the opportunity of watching it and sharing it with their friends and family. Please help us spread this important story anyway you can. It all helps us get more support to make this documentary and feature film a reality so that we can show the world what happened and hopefully learn from that.

Tino Films wish to convey our sincerest condolences to the incredible Emma Ciccotosto who recently passed away at the age of 86. She was an amazing, vibrant young woman with amazing stories about life. She was also to feature in our upcoming documentary "Enemy Aliens" however unfortunately we could not raise the support we needed in time to film her. It's another timely reminder for us that we really need support asap before this incredible true story is forever lost in time.

Emma, you were brilliant, and you instantly brought a smile to our faces within seconds of talking to you. Our sincerest wishes for your family during this difficult time.

For anyone that was touched by the kindness of Emma and would like to attend her service here are the details:

The Funeral Mass for Mrs Emma Ciccotosto of Samson will be celebrated in St Patrick's Basillica
47 Adelaide Street Fremantle commencing at 10.30 AM on Wednesday (27.03.2013). The Cortege will leave the Church at the conclusion of Mass and arrive at the main entrance of Fremantle Cemetery, Carrington Street, Palmyra at 12.15pm for a Burial Service. Vigil Prayers and Rosary will be recited in St Patrick's Basillica 47 Adelaide Street Fremantle at 10.20 AM on WEDNESDAY (27.03.2013) prior to the commencement of Mass.

Restare Uniti (We Stick Together) has just been selected at the 11th Angry Film Festival in Melbourne. It will
screen on the 28th of March as part of the 'Best Australian Short Films' Hosted by Jeremy Kewley. Judges will be Greg Pakis (The Joe Manifesto) and Ditch Davey (Tropfest 2013). Thanks to Tom Vogel and the festival for the opportunity!
