Video auditions are being accepted now for the state qualifications. Only 3 of the top scoring artist from each category can advance to the nationals in Pigeon Forge Tenn. So get your entry in . The judges that will be judging our auditions will.not be available until.sept. 15th. With this I have decided to extend the state auditions until Sept. 10th . The judges also informed that they will accept video made with a cell phone for admission as well as cd 's . If you do a video by your cell phone you can text it to me or send through messenger to 334 701 0931.

Alabama Music Association State auditions are open.
We are taking video auditions this year only.
Auditions can be summitted now and through the end of August.
Looking for talented individuals in Country, Gospel, Bluegrass
Solo artist, duo's, groups, bands,
Dancers cloggers, square dancers, country line dancers, songwriters, instrumentalist. age 5 and up.
Winner of the state auditions will advance to the national competition in Tenn. March 2024. This is a great opportunity to perform before those in the music industry.

Hopefully I will be able to set up a place and time for live auditions.just have to get through a family illness which will turn out ok . Video auditions can be sent now through August 15th .

Due to a sickness the live auditions are going to.have to.be rescheduled . However video auditions can still be sent. A new date and location will.be rescheduled and posted

First state auditions have been set. Sunday June 25th from 2pm.until.4pm in the conference room at Botantical Garden , Dothan, al. Due to.the limited seating, all entries and fees must be paid by June 15th. You will have a specific performance time that will be assigned to you. For any question feel free to contact me. Alabama Music Association has started our search for artist to audition in our next state competition. If you think you have what it takes to make it to the nationals in Tenn. Auditions will start in June through first of August. We accept video auditions for those who can't make it to our live competition. Watch for more information to be posted soon.

NACMAI Competitors:

Notice of rule adjustment:
I was always told, do not invite the audience to join you, whether it’s singing or clapping their hands.
In the entertainer segment, that is not correct. Ask the them to put their hands together & help you out. You want the audience to participate.
However, in your Vocal Competition, this does not apply. You want the judges to hear your voice, and audience participation hinds that.
This is in line with NACMAI guidelines.

NACMAI is going to be big this year and has an awesome opportunity in the works but before you can compete in the nationals you have to.audition and score in the top 3 scoring criteria in order to advance.
