In March of 2014, I developed a web page for McCadden Publishing. As of March 5th, this website will go silent. My page has generated most of the sales of 'Little Red' and so, financially, it makes sense to use FB as my primary advertising page. 'Little Red' is still available for sale! A great gift for a child ages 4-8 for birthdays or Christmas.

McCadden Publishing has been working on a new book. The illustrator, however, has been AWOL. She has given her permission for me to use some of her drawings. I will post the entire story for all to read, (when I figure out how!!) since I am not sure it will ever be published.

Little Red visited 2nd graders at West School School in Geneva, NY on Friday. We had do much fun! The children was attentive and asked great questions. Did some critical thinking and mental math along the way. I was asked how old I was when I took my 2nd graders to the school house and also how many years ago that we went. Many of the kids could tell me how old I was. They whispered in my ear so more children could do the math. Thank you to my daughter Joy, who guided me through the school and 'directed' the whole process. You are the best, Dear Joy. I could not have done the day without your skill!

I need some help from my FB friends! Some time ago, I wrote an article about "Little Red' for the Syracuse Post Standard. A friend told me that is was in the paper, but I did not see it. And I cannot find it! The reporter I contacted told me the dates she thought it was in, but no
luck. Does anyone have old newspapers from August that I could look through??

When I began my FB page for a way to let friends and family know about ' Little Red', I had no idea where it would go. Today I have 170 likes and have sold 400 books and have enjoyed the wonderful feedback I have received. Thank you all who have 'liked' , viewed and commented on my journey.

'Little Red' took a trip to Picken's General store in Heuvelton, NY. And 'she' will be present at Cato-Meridian Alumni Banquet on July 8th. Two teachers, Chris Topichak and Pam Murabito will be joining us on the 18th. Pam, Chris and Carmela Socci took their 2nd classes to visit ' Little Red' the same year that I took my students. It was a whole class event. :)

The story tells a funny story about a very sneaky grandmother and her very loved grandson. The story is complete and the illustrations are in the works. Stay tuned!! The title "GG and Jeff"!

Little Red has been a very busy book! In December she went home with former students (some of whom went to school in a one room schoolhouse), and others who have a connection to the little schools. She even made the trip to Argentina!!
Now 'Little Red' is going on the road. Heading south for a few weeks, then on to NYC, PA and NH.

Book Fair at Cato-Meridian this evening. Mike and family came to visit. 'Little Red' went home with many children. A fun gathering!
