Jay Patrick, CEO of Liberation Veteran Services, broke ground on Midlothian Turnpike yesterday for Veterans Village, a two-phased housing community that will replace their facility on Hull Street. Veterans Village will feature 50 micro-apartments and a community building will include a kitchen, dining hall, gathering spaces, administrative offices, conference room and courtyard. Phase one will cost 10.6M. Phase two will have 20 permanent housing apartments to support their goal of helping Veterans in crisis achieve long-term housing.
