Dreaming of a few weeks back when we returned to our spiritual, second home of Berlin for a radio show (LINK IN BIO) on Refuge Worldwide. It was a balmy Saturday afternoon and Lone was in town playing an open air party at Else so he joined us as special guest to tell us about the new music he’s been cooking up in the studio – yes really! - and play us some of the tunes that have been influencing him.

Berlin was looking gorgeous, everyone chilling and birds tweeting on the cobbled streets and Matt was about to tear out breakbeat to hundreds of people in the sunshine so we kept the show super dreamy…. Gavsborg, Solange, System Olympia, Neil Howard early Hudson Mohawke productions and more.

Shout out Refuge Worldwide for having us, all our friends at .ground.agency for a truly excellent party, Alex Fatdrop for fixing my USB minutes before the show and Mel and Arielle for moral support. Love you

This is a killer cover version of an Average White Band tune.

From Lou on the track:
“Stop the Rain has always been a favourite song of mine. The song itself is about love but I think it can be applied to a lot of things going on in the world at the moment, and wanting the rain to stop is a metaphor for the bigger picture. I worked hard on the production to stay reverent to the original and try to do it justice as I love it so much. My nephew Chris helped out with the guitar so it’s a family affair.”
