We have some exciting announcements to share with you today: • Our next book is being revealed TOMORROW, Thursday, March 14 at 9 a.m. PT. If there are any Lettered or Numbered editions available following the Matching Pre-Order, depending on quantities these copies will be available for purchase either by lottery or directly through the online store beginning on Saturday, March 16 at 9 a.m. PT. • This book will be published in two states: a Lettered edition of 26 copies and a Numbered edition of 250 copies. It is a short story, followed by an exclusive new afterword. Both states are printed letterpress from metal foundry type, with every word set by hand, one letter at a time. It is printed on a hand press with the sheets fed through the press, also by hand one at a time. It was printed by one of the greatest printers working today in the fine press world and we feel very blessed to have had him work on this book. The Numbered edition is printed on a beautiful mouldmade paper. The Lettered edition is printed on handmade paper that was made in 1982. It was some of the last paper the mill produced before shutting down. The Numbered state is a stitched booklet with handmade paper covers. The Lettered state is a full leather binding with leather onlays. There is a linocut engraving that is printed from the wood block. The linocut will also be sold as a signed limited edition print -- limited to no more than 50 copies for sale. It will be available for purchase tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. PT. • Some shipping and production updates: Most recently, we shipped the Numbered edition of PSYCHO and the Numbered edition of THE GODFATHER. A lot of the Classic editions are shipping soon. The next to ship will be the Classic edition of THE LAST UNICORN. This will be followed closely by the Classic edition of LIFE OF PI and then the Classic edition of WINTERSET HOLLOW. All copies are signed by the author and the artist. This is a fan favorite and was highly requested by our customers. The Classic edition is a full cloth smyth sewn binding with a full color illustrated dust jacket housed in a slipcase. The Numbered is printed letterpress and it is a quarter goatskin binding with a custom designed and printed cloth covering the boards. The design was inspired by a beautiful piece of prose from the novel itself. The Lettered edition is being published as two volumes and is printed letterpress on mouldmade paper. Both volumes are full leather bindings also incorporating and inspired by that beautiful piece of prose from the author. Both volumes will be housed in a single clamshell enclosure. • Some shipping and production updates: Last year we managed to ship 37 editions. To kick off the new year, we are hoping to ship THE STEPFORD WIVES Artist edition before the end of the month. Also shipping soon will be the Lettered edition of THE YELLOW WALL-PAPER. PSYCHO Numbered edition is moving forward. The books are completed and we are awaiting the enclosures which have now been approved. The binding of THE GODFATHER Numbered edition is also moving forward and looks incredible. We are very happy now with how this edition is looking and can't wait to share it with you. This is an author we've published before who has been quite popular amongst our customer base.The Classic edition is a full cloth smyth sewn binding with a dust jacket housed in a slipcase. The Numbered and Lettered editions are a similar binding style to the other titles we have published by this author. Very unique handmade papers were used to create striking covers for both editions, which will be housed in clamshell enclosures. The artist sadly passed away shortly after he completed work on this title, so this is some of his final work. All editions have already been printed and are in the early stages of binding. The Artist edition is printed on a Mohawk Via paper, and it is a full cloth binding with foil blocking on the spine and cover. The Numbered edition is a Bradel binding. The spine is an exotic leather with a beautiful texture and cloth over the boards. The book is printed letterpress on Mohawk Superfine paper and is housed in a clamshell enclosure. The Lettered edition is fully bound in the exotic leather. The book is printed letterpress on mouldmade Hahnemühle Biblio papers, and is housed in a clamshell enclosure that is a quarter leather structure with a rounded spine. There will also be a contest to own a very unique and special version of the Numbered edition of this title, all details for which will be revealed tomorrow. • Some shipping and production updates. We have been working on this book for over two years. It is a short story I feel is just exceptional and I had wanted to publish an edition of this for quite some time. All copies are printed letterpress using hot metal type. The Numbered edition is printed on mouldmade Somerset Book paper and the Lettered edition is printed on handmade Twinrocker paper. The Numbered edition is a Millimeter style binding covered in Hahnemühle Bugra paper with goatskin leather trim on the spine and fore edges. Each copy is handbound and is enclosed in a clamshell enclosure. The Lettered edition is full goatskin binding with leather onlays, handbound by an artisan bookbinder in the UK who has not bound a book for us until now. The book includes a new exclusive introduction by a Pulitzer Prize winning author and three color wood engravings that are printed directly from the blocks. The Artist edition is a quarter cloth binding, an upgrade from our usual Artist editions. It is inspired by the first edition design. The Artist edition slipcase is also a bit of an upgrade as this will be a slipcase with cloth ends, something we usually reserve for our Numbered editions. The Numbered edition is an elegant design. It is a quarter leather binding with cloth boards and foil blocking on the cover and spine. The Numbered edition enclosure is something unlike anything we've done before. The Artist edition is already on hand, shrink-wrapped and waiting to be shipped. The Numbered edition book and slipcases are also already complete. This is the first time this has ever happened with a book we've announced. The Lettered edition will take longer as it is such an intricate production. This book is over 1200 pages. It was printed on 60 lb paper, resulting in a reasonable bulk despite its length. The Artist edition will be limited to 750 copies, the Numbered edition is limited to 310 copies and the Lettered is limited to 26 copies. We have ten interior black and white illustrations newly commissioned, as well as another set of illustrations that were created many years ago by a very famous illustrator for one of the short stories. This is the complete works of the author and there are over 80 pages of bonus content. The Artist edition is a full cloth binding and includes a dust jacket with a very unique and striking depiction of the author. We commissioned a gallery artist to paint a portrait of the author in his own very unique style, and that is what you will see featured on the dust jacket of the Artist edition. The Numbered edition is a refined, understated design. Full Japanese cloth with a letterpress image on the cover by a noted wood engraver. The endsheets are illustrated. The slipcase is wrapped in a black cloth with red cloth wrapped ends. The Lettered edition is handbound by a craftsman of the highest order

All three editions have been printed. The Artist edition will be limited to 750 copies, the Numbered edition is limited to 350 copies and the Lettered is limited to 26 copies. The Artist edition is printed offset, and the Lettered and Numbered are printed letterpress. The book is 600 pages. Included are fourteen copper plate intaglio illustrations. The frontispiece is a mezzotint and the other illustrations are aquatints. The Artist edition is a full cloth binding with a foil blocked cover and is housed in a slipcase. The binding design for the Lettered and Numbered editions is inspired by the work of bookbinder, calligrapher and typographer Gudrun Zapf-von Hesse. Both are full leather bindings. A beautiful cowhide covers the Numbered, and it is a beautiful soft leather. The cover features some elegant blind and gold stamping. The Lettered is a full goatskin binding handbound by JacekTylkowski in Poland. The design is unusual in many respects. The Artist edition will be limited to 750 copies, the Numbered edition is limited to 250 copies and the Lettered is limited to 26 copies. The art is mixed media which is very different from what you're used to seeing from us. It is a perfect feel for the fit and nature of the story. The design of the Artist edition dust jacket is very unique. The Numbered is also unusual for us in that it has a jacket of its own. It is a translucent jacket to create a certain effect. The Lettered edition is a binding we have never done before, but it was an obvious choice for us, as it is very fitting to how the story is told. It will be handbound, full leather and we think you will really love this one. • Some shipping and production updates: Since the last broadcast, we shipped the Artist edition of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. It will be published in three states: Lettered, Numbered and Artist editions. The Lettered and Numbered editions are printed letterpress and are signed by the author and artist. The Artist edition is printed offset and is signed by the artist. The book is over 500 pages. The Artist edition of this book is fully bound and the slipcases are currently being made. The Lettered and Numbered editions have been printed and are currently at the binders. • Some shipping and production updates: Since the last broadcast, we have shipped three more books which brings us to a total of 33 editions shipped this year so far. Most recently, we shipped the JAWS Roman Numeral edition, THE OUTSIDERS Artist edition and the DARK MATTER Lettered edition. For 2022, we are running at an average of 4.2 months between announcement and shipping. Next up, we will be shipping the Artist edition of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and the Numbered edition will follow soon thereafter. The Numbered edition of IMAJICA is complete, and we are waiting on enclosures. We anticipate these shipping before the end of the year.
