365 days, 1 year, you’ve been gone.
Since the beginning of the search for Derek, we let everyone know he wouldn’t go without speaking to his family. It’s been a whole year and we definitely can confirm that to be true. We’ve heard every story and unfortunately each story has led to the worse case scenario. The family has had information that has not and will not (at this time) be let out to the public. If you follow his profile, you’d see that we were able to get into his account. Derek’s mother has exhausted all resources at this point in the search for her son. We can only be hopeful that someone will slip up and confess to what happened to him which would hopefully bring him home. A year is a LONG time to keep this “secret”; although it’s not a secret, we have an idea on whom is responsible. They just need to speak up…

We miss you Derek and will never stop searching for answers. You didn’t deserve this. 🕊️💜

Derek wouldn’t up and vanish like this.
Everyone’s “stories” pretty much line up with each other. I’m sure the locals who follow this page have heard a similar story. 11 months is a long time to keep Derek’s whereabouts a secret..

Keep pressuring those who could be involved. Keep Derek’s name in conversation. Keep sharing these posts.
His son and family deserve to know what unfolded that night in August.

Derek would NEVER go a few days, let alone 9 MONTHS without contacting his family! Yes, it’s been 9 months with very little answers. There’s still hope that he will walk in the door one day, but there’s also reality… the family just wants answers as to what happened to him August 27. The people who have these answers are walking around freely. If you’re local, you may be much closer to said DANGEROUS people than you’d think. How scary is that?
Keep sharing. Keep Derek’s name going in conversation. We won’t give up until justice is served.
I bet “they” didn’t think Derek had friends and family that would advocate for him. 😏🤬

I can’t tell you how many times I bring Derek up and someone says, “Is that the missing person I keep seeing everyone posting about?” Let’s keep it going. Derek will not be forgotten. Derek Anthony Windler, 38 years old, family last heard from him August 27, 2023. He is still missing from the Crystal River/Homosassa area. Who knows or has information about his whereabouts? Speak up. Multiple people know and have given bits and pieces of information out through the citrus county area. Information that’s leading towards Derek not making the decision to be missing for 5 months. Do the right thing if you have information.
