Our entry for the Little Cinema Galway/Galway City of Film 48-Hour Challenge 2019 sees a daughter and her father travel across a ruined landscape to bury a rare nitro-fruit in order to save humanity from disease.

Each team received a prop (ours was a pineapple) and needed to incorporate a line of dialogue ("If it wasn't for this stupid smartphone...") into their film.

We had a great time making this! Everything from the concept to writing the script through to post-production and scoring was completed within a 48 hour timeframe. We were especially delighted to take home the BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY award, thanks to Fintan's visionary skill in capturing the sparse and desolate beauty of our locations.

Congratulations to the Little Cinema for running what has become our favourite event of the year, and congratulations to the other filmmakers who took part in this year's challenge, especially to the crew behind the brilliant winning film "Loving Alex".
