I know that it might not seem neccessary, but the accountability of having someone there to make sure you are getting in the gym and pushing you everyday is huge.
Even if they may not go with you everyday, they are going to check in on you and your progress often.
The same is true in business, when you have someone you are partnering with, or you have someone is starting FBA at the same time, they will help to succeed and increase your business quickly and effectively.
Surround yourself with people who want the best for you and see how quickly your life improves.

Getting in the gym for 30-45 minutes is FAR more effective than spending HOURS each day
I train 6 days a week and I find this to be the most sustainable practice for me.
I have the opposite opinion when it comes to business, the more you put in the better it will be for your business.
Putting 3 hours in at the gym everyday will have a negative effect on gains, where as putting in 3 hours a day on your business will be far more beneficial than putting in 45 minutes.

I won't hire Americans
It's a straightforward decision for me.
Despite facing criticism for supposedly offering "unlivable wages," the truth is, I compensate them at a rate 10 times higher than what they would typically earn in the Philippines.
And yes, I have double and TRIPLE checked that to be true
My interactions with these employees have been consistently positive.
They exhibit a strong work ethic and consistently go above and beyond my expectations.

You should get a personal trainer
I think that getting a personal trainer is huge for progress in the gym.
They can give you a baseline for what works what for your body and your goals.
After you get into the habit of going and you get the help from the trainer, you can then start making progress on your own.

Make a website for you Amazon business.
This is one of the easiest ways to set yourself apart from other sellers on Amazon.
When you talk to suppliers you can point them to your website, and because most sellers don't have one, it immediately legitimizes your business.
It might not seem like a big deal, but I would highly recommend setting up a website.

You have to do things that are uncomfortable for you.

If I could give you one piece of advice that stays with you, it would be this.
Network with other professionals in your field.
If that is Amazon, thats great, if thats something else, it still remains true.
My business grew so much faster when I started to network with other sellers.
Connect with sellers on Linkedin.
Join seller groups.
Attend conferences.
They are all worth it.

Being a gamer leads to success on Amazon....
Maybe not actually, but it is a great way to decompress and enjoy yourself.
Reading a book is definitely better for you than playing video games, but relaxing and enjoying time off while playing video games is very beneficial
The hustle culture of, work 16 hour days and don't do anything but work is not realistic
It leads to burnout and people end up quitting because that amount of work is not sustainable
So chill more often and play video games with your friends.

You need to niche down on Amazon
What I mean by this is that you should pick a subcategory within a major category
You don't want to be too broad in your niche because you will be drowned out by the competition.
You will be able to get more supplier agreements with this
When my company niched down into tools and automotives, we opened new accounts with over 50% of the suppliers when we made the change.

You need start doing THIS to save THOUSANDS on your wholesale order.
Let's say you get a quote from supplier A, you can take that quote to supplier B and ask them to beat it. And a lot of times they will beat it.
You're going to get a discount on that product that you wouldn't have gotten otherwise, and that is profit. That's going to go straight to your bottom line.|
This is something small but in some cases you can literally save THOUSANDS of dollars that goes straight into your pocket.

They don't embrace competition
You are going to be more successful by making connectinos with other sellers.
You can go in together on a bulk order to save money
They will connect you to other suppliers
There is NO reason not to use the competition to help your business.

Get involved with seller groups right away
I didn't get connected in these groups until I was about 5 years into selling on Amazon and once I did, I immediately made connections with other sellers and my business became way more successful quickly.
I have found that sellers want to help other sellers, so joining these groups are VERY important for your success on Amazon
If I started on day one, I would be way further along in the process

I play video games but I still did over 4 million in revenue last year
I play at least 10 hours a week and I am still able to run a multi million dollar business
If anyone says you can't do both or makes you feel bad for playing video games, they have no idea what theyre talking about
I work as little as 2 hours a day because I am able to outsource a lot of my work and I have created a system where I am work as little as I do and still be successful
This goes with any hobby as well, if you like to workout, or you like playing sports, or watching a good movie, then DO IT.
If you put the systems in place you can easily enjoy your hobbies as well as be successful with your business.

You're probably not getting results when cold emailing suppliers and HERE is why...
Most wholesale sellers, especially those who are new to the business, often lack when they are trying to email suppliers
They tend to send emails that are WAY too long, and add small detials that aren't needed.
I can guarantee that because of this, your response rates are probably around 5%, which is NOT good.
Be as specific as possible. Cut out all of the extra stuff and get right to the point. You want X product in Y quantity.
Do this and watch your response rates soar!

There are SO many benefits to partnering directly with brands
You are going to have a direct line of communication with brands which you often cant do otherwise.
If you are a good customer for these brands it also can set up the potential for exclusive contracts with these brands
There is also potential for better pricing especially whe you have established a good working relationship.
Start partnering with brands before the rest of the wholesale world does...
