Played some music , some old some new,had the arts round up,our book review this week was Dreaming of Zhou D**g by Tracy Harding, a bug book , the first in The Time Keepers series.Its full of Chinese mysticism but also futuristic time lord type stuff.I'm not too sure about it personally.The poem this week was Defeat by Evan Jones.

Played what i hope was an interesting range of music ,had the arts round up ,this week i reviewed the Gapstead 2010 Valley selection sauvignon blanc-semllon, its quite a good drop. a great summer wine. I had a chat about the seafood festival and the French backpacker who were having a ball drinking their cask wine ,which became my something for nothing segment.The poem this week was Same in blue, by Langston Hughes.

Played music as usual ,had thr arts round up, I introduced a new segment,Something for nothing,were i will be telling people how to navigate financially hard times.This week i discussed the free drinks and nibblies available at art gallery openings.I then reviewed The Yalumba sangiovese 2012 rose,Lovely, dry rose .The poem this week was Babecue by Peter Kocan.

Played some new and old music this week and because Christmas is fast approaching a Christmas carol had to be played .i chose a carol from the famous Bob Dylan Christmas carol album.I reviewed a novel called The Magician King by Lev Grossman .I found it hard to get into this book and could and could only give 3.5 bookmarks out of 10.The poem was Im walking backwoods for Christmas by Spike Milligen

Played some new music this week, I had the arts round up , the book review this week was On the Road,by Jack Kerouac ,very interesting read, the poem this week was by another beat poet,it was Howl by Allen Ginsberg.I had a chat about a program called red map, which is a web site in Tasmania which you can log on different species of fish you have caught in an effort to track the movement of fish due to the warming of the waters around Tassie.A great idea.

A big show this week.played some new Paul Kelly, some new Henry Wagons ,had our arts round up, interviewed Kate Cousland about the new Arts Inc gallery opening in The Bay this weekend.I had a chat about our trip to M.O.N.A IN Tassie last week. I then spoke about the Billy Bragg concert.Fanbloodytastic.I then reviewed The Jacobs Creek reserve sauv blanc 2012, good value.Poem this week was Table Talk by Wallace Stevens.

Played some music,a bit more of the new Dylan cd,getting into it now.Played a track off Michael Kiwanuka's latest cd ,very smooth.Had the arts round up, reviewed The Peter Leahman 2009 Classic Riesling,a very good value wine. Had a chat about the protest rally this Sunday at the Queenscliff marine research centre.This weeks poem was The Self Unseeing by Thomas Harding.

Played some music as usual,got hold of the new Dylan album.Not too sure yet, willplay some more next week.I reviewed Pantheon, by Sam Bourne,its athriller set in England and the US during the second world war.Its an ok novel nothing too exciting,I give it 6 bookmarks out of ten.The poem this week was Open House by Theodore Roethke.

Played some interesting music, i hope,hsd the arts round up.This week i reviewed the novel All that i am by Australian author Anna Funder,this book won the 2012 Mles Franklin award.It is a story set in Germany and England in the 1920s around the time of Hitlers N***s are taking over Germany.Its based on a true story and is a ripper i highly recommend this book. Our poem this week was The waiter and the tourist in Turkey by Robyn Lance

Great to have Fiona and Kate s new show on before No Structure.It was National Poetry Week so i read twp poems this week,Hope Road by Philippa Martyr after the arts round up .After i reviewed the Rymill yearling cab-cab 2010.Not a bad win but is probably drinking at its best now.The second poem was Under the gaze of KLs high rise eyes by Robyn Lance ,I also played some music
