Gauzy bliss-out and pop abstraction to forward-facing dancefloor pressure, founder Jetty () delivers the 131st podcast.

68 engrossing minutes from a real one. Definitely the handiwork for the brains behind a label that trades in the tender, mutant, smudged and sublime.

RIYL: Madjestic Kasual, Slagwerk, Organ Tapes, blastah, TT

“Sometimes I’m catering to the imaginary techno-industrial board of directors… sometimes my eyes are closed and my brain is smooth. This one has been Schwinn and Salt Marsh approved - the true test of pure intent. All glory goes to the producers behind the songs I stitched together.” – Jetty

Gassed to have arch futurist and founder on the podcast series.

As the brains behind a label constantly upending expectations and convention, the Lyon native has achieved cult status among discerning music heads. If you haven’t checked the POLAAR output, not to mention Flore’s own productions, you only have yourself to blame. It’s curation without compromise, defined by a voracious appetite for innovation.

Flexing a commitment to reckless abandon and clubwise experimentation, the mix treads a similar path. Bassbin accelerators and hardcore torque in abundance.

“This mix is a collection of new and old tracks that represent my current mood: a mixture of introspection and excitement. In a few days we are starting the celebration of the 10th anniversary of my POLAAR label with a party at the Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris (one of the biggest we have ever organised).

It proved the perfect occasion to delve back into the archives and it was surprisingly pleasant to see how far we have come. It’s also an opportunity to think about the new creative directions we want to take in the years to come. I’ve made the selection while working on this, and I think the mix reflects that state of mind.” - Flore

New York figurehead and podcast contributor Ex Wiish () keeps things horizontal with a 45-minute exercise in total immersion.

We're gassed to have the 23 Speedway founder on board for this one. Something of a luminary in the Big Apple scene, the sound artist and composer has grown increasingly experimental with age, culminating in a widescreen debut for Anthony Naples' label.

Where that album oscillated between windswept arrangements, lacerating IDM and downbeat styles, his mix taps into the same vein of transcendent, meditative experimentalism.

London/Glasgow gang, word is he also has a couple of shows this weekend. Catch the man himself at tomorrow and on Saturday.

“For this mix I wanted to feature tracks by some of the artists who have recently been involved with 29 Speedway on tour alongside music I’ve found inspiring as of late. Picks from Flora Yin Wong, Lauren Duffus, Yolabmi, Eric Frye, bod [包家巷], KMRU, Exael and some other favourites”. – Ex Wiish

.life founder , AKA “the devil himself”, in the building for the latest podcast.

Co-founding the now-defunct Bala Club to launching Precious Metals, the NTS mainstay is one of London’s foremost underground operators: a prolific producer, DJ and label owner that counts the likes of Kamixlo, Yayoyanoh and Organ Tapes among his closest peers and collaborators.

Committed to platforming emerging artists, no stone is left unturned in his label’s pursuit of dysfunction and emotive-driven, genre-bending cross-pollination. It’s music that draws from the chaos of the urban complex; intense, visceral, sometimes nocturnal, and, on occasion, violent in the extreme.

And where his own productions straddle the line between severe electronics, drill abstraction and Latinx styles, this mix treads a similar path.

“The mix is the soundtrack to a inward spiral - propelled towards the blessed chaos of our inner most desires and fears, entwined in sacred rapture.” – ENDGAMƎ

’s mounted a full frontal rhythmic assault for the podcast series.

This one comes in like a freight train. Detroit raised but based out of Austin, TX, like a recent debut album on .mu that took cues from the Motor City, the Eat Dis Records co-founder’s mix remains indebted to an unhinged interpretation of that Midwest sound.

It also carries over some of the unrelenting intensity from earlier releases on the likes of D. Tiffany's . Straight-up techno and electro torque for the duration with zero appetite for subtlety.

Never a dull moment and we can’t wait to witness more of that turbulent NRG when she takes to the booth at this weekend.

OG .k brings the ghetto sound of Lisbon on a contribution to the podcast series.

A key proponent of Lisbon's kuduro sound, first exposure came via a 2006 compilation that has since achieved cult status. Introducing a spectrum of hyper-local sounds, ‘DJs Do Guetto’ took a unique slant on rhythms of the African diaspora, specifically those native to Angola. In turn, it laid the foundations for what would become one of the most consistently intriguing labels about.

Where a 2016 debut embraced hybridity in a straight-for-the-jugular assault of batida, kuduro and tarraxinha, N.K. has also shared Príncipe engineering duties with the legendary Tó Pinheiro da Silva. And now, after all this time, he’s back on the label with some original music.

Gracing the long awaited second volume to that aforementioned compilation with no fewer than three new tracks, this mix also deploys mutant club styles to devastating effect. Teriyaki Boyz-sampling kuduro to an N.K. remix of some classic Atlanta trap, it goes very hard.

“With this mix I wanted to show the contrast between the recent N.K. versus the old. It’s a journey from the present to the past, culminating in Marfox's latest track in collaboration with Tristany and Pongo titled ‘De.Gra.De’ (its appearance at Eurovision was another super important step in our style of music that we don't stop believing in). I also wanted to convey that our sound has no manners. We don't make music to try to get somewhere, we just make it.” – DJ N.K.

Tokyo’s Prettybwoy () has kept things fiercely forward-facing on a contribution to the podcast series.

A bonafide OG of Japan’s dubstep scene, the veteran producer has always operated at the bleeding edge of electronic music. Making regular appearances at Goth-Trad's 'Back To Chill' parties in the early '00s, he’d also expand on his repertoire with a cameo for Big Dada's ‘Grime 2.0’ compilation.

More recently, outings for Shanghai's esteemed label and the -helmed imprint have spanned everything from sino-grime to footwork deviations and gleaming, chromed-out club abstraction. Futurism has long been the unifying theme and this mix treads a similar path.

’s going fathoms deep for the podcast series. Big on atmosphere with a serious disregard for genre boundaries, the London-based DJ keeps things engrossing while never loosing sight of a fondness for dub, footwork and depth-charge tribalism.

She’s also cultivated community around , a party series and radio placing emphasis on electronic music’s sensuous potential. Basically, anything Softi touches is done in intrepid style.

Subtly transcendent, timelessly transportive, and like the mix, an upcoming appearance at Festival in the Netherlands will undoubtably deliver on that promise.

“I curated a fluid and progressive journey that floats effortlessly through BPMs and genres of the psychedelic sounds of electronic music. I wanted to create a taste of what to expect this year on the dance floor. A sensual, fresh flavour and sound that I want to push throughout my sets.

Creating an atmosphere, always keeping it deep and expanding consciousness. With a slow but emotive start with smooth ambient and deep tribal techno which expressively leads into experimental bass-heavy IDM, jungle and D&B whilst still keeping a unique, growing spaced-out mood with each track.” – Softi

Post-shaabi proponent gets on a raw, percussive flex for the podcast series.

Operating from the shadows, the Cairo-based producer prefers to keep his identity under wraps. He recalibrates sounds of his native Egypt into new accelerated hybrid modes with inimitable style, and hot on the heels of a recent debut, we’re gassed to have him on board.

Where that release joined dots between Egyptian and Colombian traditions, the mix serves as a window into his overarching agenda. Seismic bassbin pressure and lacerating rhythm for the duration.

“I would say the set is a good representation of what I'm currently playing in clubs; lots of percussion and lots of bass.” – 3Phaz

Podcast series inductee opts for introspection and kaleidoscopic cross-genre experimentation.

Usually found on a percussive flex, the London-based artist and recent debutant draws inspiration from rhythms indigenous to her native home of Zimbabwe. Expect fierce hybrid material as pop abstraction and mutant club dynamics become a backdrop for Kundai’s own vocals.

A producer, vocalist, DJ, fashion designer and art director, she leaves few stones unturned in the pursuit of creative expression. Always steadfast in her commitment to pushing at the boundaries and this mix is no exception.

“The mix is a depiction of where I am; confused, unsure and looking for a brighter place. It includes a song ‘Heaven’ from my upcoming album that’s releasing in July alongside tracks from LR Groove, Ghostemane, Xen Model and some bright edits. It’s an expressive and introspective mix. Rolling through the genres.” – Kundai

comin' through with a beautifully meditative mix ahead of performing at Sweden’s .

Sakini’s music is quietly captivating; textured and bewitching, with a pervading sense of plaintive serenity. Each release draws from the same sensuous palette while being a world unto itself. Intimately beautiful and always providing room for personal interpretation.

As expected, the mix goes some distance to emulate those enigmatic, daydream qualities.

“Performance, life, lights is a mix of warped regal ideas, drama and DIY, hierarchy and performance, context and setting.

Lavish strings, stage ready pianos and ambitious compositions provide a crystalline opening yet after some twists and turns things eventually devolve into rudimentary components, the basics of life and sound, ending with the most primal instruments - the strings plucked from inside a piano, the voices of town folk and found percussive home sounds.” – Laila Sakini
